DMD is not hot now, but will become hot. The name alone will attract a certain % of investment and was a great coin ahead of its time that has been cloned a few times.
Is it on an exchange? I can't find it on Cryptsy
It has been temporarily removed from cryptsy to protect it due to the recent fork. Should be up again anytime now. I'm also waiting for it

zuper has fixed the issue. DMD is back.

No, the developer left. There was some takeover but its almost dead.
It's very scarce, it's scrypt, it's PoW/PoS, it's not pre-mined - so, yes, it's very hot!
The only problem is that the new dev team is slow in bringing new developments out. If/when they get their act together, DMD is going to fly!
Just look at it today: it's probably under attack and its price has doubled in cryptsy!
