I see a large amount of sell orders for DogeCoin, and from the looks of the Bear charts, DogeCoin looks like a dying currency. If I was looking for a "long-term" currency, DogeCoin is the one I would avoid...?  Huh

People are buying and selling a lot of doge, because this coin is really used a lot by people to buy goods online or to gamble, at least. Dogecoin is old, fast, cheap and secure. It is a good coin in general as means of payment. However, it doesn't make it a good investment option, because at the same time there's nothing innovative and the dev team is simply gone, the coin is probably not going to face any changes. The price is falling with time due to it being very inflatious, whereas most of cryptocurrencies have limited supply.

If it's under 10 sat it's worth buying. Doge will never die, it will always be used for micro transactions. Because with Doge you can make the cheapest transactions anywhere in the world.

doge is a great way to move value between exchanges that charge fees not needed for the miners.  No exchange needs to charge 0.0015 like say yobit to w/d BTC, so if i need to move money out of there , screw yobit im buying doge and w/d doge for a few coins Cheesy
Doge is merge mined so it will go down sometimes naturally, but it always has a nice pump once or twice a year if you check the historical charts

True - and it's also popular with gambling sites, because people don't mind risking their doge.

You know who else it's popular with - the pump teams. It goes through an accumulation phase when it is below 20 sats, and then pumps. Sometimes the pump is huge. other times it only from 20 sats to about 28 sats, for a 40% gain.

Everybody said Doge was dead, it was abandoned by the dev team. It seems that Doge has not had much news and events for so long. Its price is constantly decreasing. It has 170 satoshi and is now 17 satoshi. I really feel sorry for Doge. It was very popular. You can buy if you still hope for Doge.

If you are going to use it for other purposes dogecoin is worth a buy but if you are thinking of buying it for investment I suggest that you avoid it. Developments for this particular coins has seized and it will be a very long time hold for one to profit in this coin. Still, doge is a nice currency to use for gambling so even if development is dead, there is a constant stream of demand for it that makes it different to other shitcoins that have seized their developments too.

i do not think Dogecoin is a good choice,
it's more like a pump and dump coin but compare to other shit coin it's much more better,
because some people used this as their payment(for example one of my local exchanger in my country).
it's an abandoned project by the dev,
but it's well known project at the same time because of its popularity awhile ago until right now.
for a future i can not see anything, which mean i believe it should be slowly dying because of a new born project that will replace it

Yes you should avoid it. I think it's dying for real now, the price has been declining since June and now it was only worth 17 satoshis each. Dogecoin has no real use case whatsoever. Since the day it was created, it was never meant to be a serious currency. It doesn't even has a developer right now.

There are way too many coins out there that is better than Dogecoin. I suggest you to look for another coin with real use and promising future.

When you look for speculation then you can go for shitcoin without any fundamentals as there is pump and dumps , but if you are making serious invesmtent and hope for long term profit then better invest in some cryptocurrency that has fundamental, good dev , good project idea and vision, dogecoin obviously has no fundamental and is just shit for the long term

Not only a dying currency but that could be a dying currency, too many supplies and that already increase everytime give a lot of the possibility about the doge will meet its end in the future.,
Because a lot of people are still mining the doge, and there is no development to give a fixed supply or limited supply. Please avoid to bu such crap coin just like doge.

I think DogeCoin is a very stable coin. The value of this coin don't change a lot when Bitcoin rise or fall. It may sometimes rise when Bitcoin rise.

I think so, when i visit the exchange site and view the chart, i can see some future of this coin. I don't know if i am correct for that speculation, i will just wait the price of that in the future.

you are right, i see the sell orders with big amount of orders too but i don't think that dogecoin looks like a dying currency. as you know, dogecoin is the most coins that is used for placing a bets in gambling site and there many people deposit in big amount so dogecoin will be stronger coins too. you can buy dogecoin and hold it for a long term because in my oppinion, dogecoin can increase only in a long term so you can start to buy too if you want. but yes you need to wait before its increase and its worth for me.

Doge Coin is controlled by the whales, just need to get it cheap enough and wait.

My opinion is that 15 sat is a good buy if you really want doge.

Unlikely. Even though dogecoin has no active development major pools that mine bitcoin is still mining dogecoin and i've seen plenty of dogecoin holders out there still. Their community is pretty vibrant as well compared to others.

If you don't believe in Doge then don't invest in it.

There is no guarantees that it's going to go up, but it's not going to fall to 100th place or less anytime soon.

If you like volatility so that you can make some good profits in between then this coin is not recommended. It is very stable as such and does not move that much. If you are not ready to take risk and like a stability then you can buy it else you can ignore this coin if you looking to make money through the swings.

One of the most stable coins, as the price movement is virtually nonexistent. I think everyone has just forgotten about her and does not believe that she can rise again. For half a year, it practically fell to zero and there it sits, if the bitcoin rises to the previous level, there will already be a record.

Because the more supply will come to the market and just dump it to run away with money from the market, Doge will turn into another zombie or even die token in the future.
As you can see the inflation doesn't get control by any party and the developers already gone.
There is no hope to the dogecoin to get the bright future.
There is a lot of better coin rather than doge.

I guess, it just isn't that exciting anymore, but the value has a fairly even history. There are some coins, older coins in the mix, that simply cannot support a long history of success and despite the fact that Doge is nothing great, it still has the longevity that cannot be said for other coins.

I have said this before in another thread, but i am sure that dogecoin can recover in some time, they made more than ten percent today if i am not wrong, maybe it will take some months, but it is going to recover soon, i still have some faith over doge and i like them.  I have a few thousands of them on my wallet, i know that they are useless, but i will keep them, who knows if doge decides to go bullish again in some time?
I still believe on this coin.

Doge is never profitable if you hold it for long term with doge you can easily earn 10-30% of profit within a week for example if you buy eth at 0.05 btc to get 10% profit you will need it to reach 0.055 btc but in case of doge the price is currently 19 sats and when it reaches 21 sat that itself is 10% profit you can observe the chart this occurs once atleast a week.

Doge is like memorabilia for lots because of all the emotions it has had throughout the years. I hold them as a souvenir Smiley
How is holding even beneficial i remember in may or june the price was 110 sat and today it is 19 the more you hold it higher your loss will be.

Dogecoin is named as dying coin since its creation, but you will see, some day its on 1$. Smiley Ok, I would not put my whole savings to doge, but they are in my portfolio on longterm.
I honestly think that doge is here to stay people will buy this coin for short term trading or for scalping. As long as they think they will make some profit they will but it. No matter what coin it is.

For the price speculation I do not see doge reaching a dollar in the future, maybe in a really far future. I lost a lot of satoshi with this coin because i thought that the price will continue to rise up but unfortunately i was very wrong. Sold it on a loat but it's okay. We may never see this coin reaching $.10 as the supply just keeps on growing and the demand well i think there is no demand for doge.  Cheesy

i think dogecoin is not dying though we never heard any good news from this coin on  the past days but it is still it is one of the best pioneer coins out there in the market and i think doge coin is much more usefull because it has a low transaction fees compared to other coins like bitcoins which fees are so expensive but lets face it most people today are just brainwashed by new coins/tokens due to thier easy pump and dump structure  as a result, good old coins are more likely to be forgotten.

Dogecoin has always had huge sell orders on any orderbook of any exchange I have experienced. This does not to me look like bear moves, even when the price was well over 100 satoshis several months back. Earlier in the year, developers claimed to try and work on Dogecoin a bit more, with hopes of reviving it. There has been no update as of yet, that I know of, so to me that means the real news will be coming round the corner.

Maybe you will call me an idiot, but Doge is a great value buy now below 20 sats. I still believe it can reach 100 again. Fiat wise, it has only gotten very stable at $1 per 1,000 after pumping. This will still grow and is a great part of my portfolio.

Their community is nothing but diehards too!

DOGE will pump again I think. There are the fractal patterns and it can easily go up to 190 satoshis again. Classic 10x

I think Doge coin has no future if some devs will not take over and provide some serious development. For now it's a very risky investment, it will only go down if nobody's taking over the development, which is not very likely.

No matter how dying dogecoin is, it stands to benefit from a wide spread crypto bull run.
See historical chart last few months https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/dogecoin/btc, it went from 20 sats to 155 sats. Thats quite a nice gain too
In the long term, it is struggling to find a place among the giants

To my mind dogecoin is actually one of the least likely coins to die, it is one of the oldest coins around and still has a lot of support. On the other hand I would also put it close to the top of my list of the least likely coins to go up in value.

Maybe. But this only good for short trade. For long term? That's questionable. It's circulating supply is too huge. They are adding more supplies every year. That's crazy. Devs don't really care about it's future. Anyway, it's a joke coin. So don't take this altcoin seriously. But i see that there's still supports this altcoin. Just invest your money to other potential altcoins out there. There's a lot of altcoins which are way more better than this. One thing i don't like about this altcoin aside from It's supply. The developers. Their are not so active. I think they dumped this project as i don't even see any news about this altcoin. Be careful though. This is a pump and dump coin. So if you see it pumping. Make sure there's a reason for that pump.

Yes, apparently there is no future of dogecoin. The developer himself left this so there is no hope for this coin.  Better not to invest. if you really wish you can invest just $10 and buy few thousands of dogecoin and just forget about them.  $10  might be $100 in 10 years of time etc.
