Call your grandparents and tell them you love them
This will vary among managers but a general idea is that, in case I was a manager:
1. More earned merits, more chances of getting accepted.
2. Posting habits and board distribution as per the current campaign.
3. DT trust rating
4. Account Active and inactive spells.
5. Previous experience in other campaigns by the same manager if present.

The second point is difficult for general users to do justice to. Still try to be active in between campaigns and try to participate in different threads

Those enrolled or accepted into the signature campaign ...

I hate to tell you this, but you are one of them too... us signature campaign participants, that is.  Smiley

To answer your question, each campaign manager might have their personal preferences and criteria. But, everything always relates back to your participation and contribution to the community. Some campaigns might also have specific conditions or priorities, like this one, which prioritizes posters in the German locale.

Only the campaign manager will tell you the reason for refusing to accept you to join the signature campaign, but the reasons differ according to the type of campaign.

For example, if it is a gambling campaign and you are not active in that board, the chance of you joining it is very slim.
If it is related to technical board, they will prefer those who is posting there and not in altcoin, while another campaign such as crypto exchange will prefer that.
If you are active in local board and promotion site is in English, your chance of joining is slim.

This is if we ignore other factors such as competition, the number of applicants for the campaign and the extent of guests’s trust in them.

Those enrolled or accepted into the signature campaign are based on qualifying merit or because of greater numbers, or because of luck, or for other reasons known only to the Manager.
Because if I look, there are several participants who have a higher number of achievements but are not accepted.

I just want to know, because if there is another reason besides the many achievements, I or other people can follow or apply it if the reason is good and makes sense. Because in my opinion, achieving achievement is not an easy job.

Sorry if my question is wrong, I just want to know the reason, hope I don't get judged. Smiley
The main fact is it is entirely up to the signature manager who he chooses to promote. The manager can also invite and hire participants. In that case, many times EarnMerit doesn't matter.
But as usual campaign managers hire participants based on some basic factors and the first three of which are already mentioned by tranthidung in his post. I want to add one more thing with these three things that is reputation or trust, if a new user has earned 250 earnmerits, on the other hand, if a defaulttrust or reputed member has 100 or less earnmerits, even he will get priority. Moreover BPIP makes this easy for the campaign manager.

If you earn merit, the chance that you will join a significant campaign is high because your merit can be use to determine your post quality. Those that gave you the merit is also important. If they are well established members, your chance to join a campaign will increase. What is most important is post quality and those that are well established on this forum give quality posts merits.

I won’t really question a campaign manager’s motives for accepting me. I’m just grateful for the opportunity. All of the reasons you mentioned probably play a factor to some degree. It just depends on the manager and the type of campaign they are running.

If they are looking for quality then merit alone can’t be why somebody is accepted. Many users are able to rank up quickly by “farming” merits in specific threads and older members have airdropped merits.

Sometimes it could even just be dumb luck. If you stumble across a new campaign right as they’ve just created the application thread and you meet all the criteria then there is a higher likelihood of being accepted.

It's due to campaign managers.

There's a campaign manager that don't care about merit and how much merit you earn, even you have 5K merits but your post is just one liner (the manager prefer to select wall of text poster), you won't get accepted.

There's a campaign manager value more the board and section of the poster over the reputation or how popular the user is.

So, you can't just use a same standard to judge every campaign managers.

Wipe your eyes, and glasses if you wear them, and look again, then.

People who are at the top of the rankings on bpip.org have no problem joining a signature campaign, if they want to. There are always exceptions to this, of course, like if you have your reputation destroyed, then you won't be able to join a campaign, but if you are a good contributor, you usually have no problem finding a campaign that will accept you.

Many factors and on top of that, we have some important factors
  • Earned merit: it is a very first impression but whether it is a most important factor or not the most important factor, it depends on each manager. Because people have many ways to earn merits. Earned merit number is not a golden indicator to identify quality of a poster. It's only one of factors to assess quality.
  • Post quality: It is manual assessment from each manager. Quality is about idea, idea expression succinctly or not, and it does not actually depends on post length.
  • Favorite board: Each project has its own products that need to aim at specific customers so a manager of that project campaign will have to look for posters in most relevant boards.
