I'm constantly having exactly the same problem. On some other forums I figured out that it depends on your location. To connect etherdelta just turn on VPN or use it from TOR browser (which exactly the same). It might be a bit laggy afterwards and have a delay with showing your account balance but at least you will be able to load the page.

Really? That an interesting suggestion I will have to try. Did you also figure out which locations are worse for accessing Etherdelta?

I have been trying for the whole day to access EtherDelta, and the page never loads entirely for me, no matter which browser I am using. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Does anyone have an explanation? I have noticed that ETH gas is skyrocketing - is there a relation with that?

I do believe it has becoming quite congested since it is rather slow compared to coinsexchange but it still works for me and I still preferred it as a trading platform since it has more volume compared to other trading platforms. Try accessing it in off peak hours or maybe when theres less traffic from your internet connection.

yes this end Etherdelta suffered a possible congestion due to the many users of Etherdelta so it was jamming.

Sapien.Network-Beta Platform is Live
I got very few tokens in etherdelta. I have used it for quite a time but recently, it processes so slow. If not for some of my  airdrop and bounty tokens that are only traded in etherdelta, i could have opted for other platforms.

I did a trade on idex today, it went like a breeze and super cheap (only 50 cents gas fee), deposit, withdrawal, trade everything done within 15 minutes. The same thing would take hours on ED and cost many times more.

There are some nasty rumors going around about Etherdelta being sold to some incompetent person, rumors of exit scams, the very suspicious dns hack which happened a while ago. Stay away from there at all costs, people are screaming on reddit about not being able to withdraw their coins. Deposits and withdrawals don't go through even after transactions are completed with 60+ confirmations on the  ethereum blockchain.

Yes, i have same issue with you. Until now, etherdelta still slow and the page always show loading progress. Better we move to another dex exchange like https://idex.market

They definitely should upgrade their servers, otherwise they will just lose their customers to competitors who are nos starting to appear. It's an irony that right now they decided to make an ICO to sell token of their site.

ED has no servers, it's a dappl running on the ethereum platform. Basically it's just a primitive GUI front end to a smart contract system.

OMG, this is really something I would have never suspected! Well, all things considered I cannot but admire the devs who have setup such a smart decentralised exchange. Even though in the practical use it sucks, one cannot deny that it is techically very brilliant.

Don't worry about it, they going to work to fix it (For that reason they made a ICO). For the moment I only increase the gas.

i am actually beginning to think i should also give up etherdelta. if i want to move fast it is impossible with etherdelta. all exchanges are slow on deposits(need some confirmations) but after that you can just do your job..here is a lottery in how long you are going to need to wait until you see a successful tx.

I would love to give up Ether Delta, but it is quite the only flea market of tokens around these days, and even though it does its job quite badly, nobody else is doing it yet...

there are so many complaints that etherdelta users are saying and that this should already be resolved by the team from etherdelta because, nevertheless, this would be very detrimental to everyone who uses etherdelta as a site of exchange. some of the obstacles that often occur in etherdelta is one of them is a very disturbing delay is also very vulnerable security with the theft of some tokens that we save on etherdelta. this should be a homework for the etherdelta team so that all users of this site will be able to obtain a security about what they do in etherdelta.

It looks you are having a problem with your connection because etherdelta is working properly on my desktop. In my opinion, etherdelta takes a lot of bandwidth and that's why you must try to check your connection before accessing etherdelta. And then you can try to do that again.

I have stopped using EtherDelta for a while now.  I do not like the fact that I need to input my private keys in order to use the exchange.  I am sticking to more traditional exchanges such as Bittrex and Binance.  I also prefer to use the Waves DEX but it is mostly used for trading Waves platform tokens.

If you have a Nano Ledger S you can avoid inputting your private keys, a much safer option. Before using the Nano I would use a dedicated wallet which I would usually keep empty when not used - but this of course was doubling my transfer fees, since every time I had to transfer something from my REAL wallet I had to ho through that wallet before transferring to the contract.

EtherDelta was always slow, but sometimes it takes several minutes just to open it so it's really annoying. And I wouldn't recommend to trade on ED if your coins are listed somewhere else. After the last hack ED I understood that ED is not safe at all.
