Has anyone been able to use the exchange recently and perform some trades on it?
Didn't etherdelta already changed to Forkdelta? I haven't used that site since many years ago

I saw this exchanger also, for me its not good to use for those new in crpto traders. As you can see lot of coins there are shitcoins you can see nothing has a big volume from that exchange.
Because that site isn't even active again. Yobit still has more shitcoin than etherdelta i think

It actually doesnt look like the exchange is operational. The website loads just fine but MetaMask doesnt recognize it and after I login to my Metamask account it is still not recognized by Etherdelta. I initially thought there was a problem with my Metamask extension but it works just fine at ForkDelta.

Has anyone been able to use the exchange recently and perform some trades on it?

I just visited the site through the link you shared and the Account option has " ! " marked red no chart or no order book displayed. Roll Eyes Do not think it is working.

As said, if the token you're trading there has no volume whether etherdelta is a good exchange for you to sell or buy that token, it will be no use because there's no volume.

Do not think it is working.
There are too many dead coins on etherdelta so before trading check it to other exchange maybe there's one that has a good volume where you can trade decently. What's this coin that you are telling?

I suggest you make an entirely new wallet for trading on each exchange that utilizes smart contract. Transfer what you want to trade from your wallet that contains the crypto in question and send it to the new wallet you just created for use on the exchange. That way you only share the privatekey on your new wallet which you have made and dedicated to the use of etherdelta exchange. I do this and I feel much safer.

I suggest you never ever connect your main wallet to anything. Always send to another wallet first then to the exchange. This ensures that you never connect (not even by accident) your wallet to anything else.

Probably because you checked a random token that has no orders...

BNB for example, seems to have a a few orders: https://etherdelta.com/#BNB-ETH

I know there were different problems with the exchange in the past. Sometimes the site is down completely, other times it seems very slow.
Is it still safe to use?
I guess so. It's all based on a smart contract after all.

Is this the official website? https://etherdelta.com
Yes.
