I plan on investing a significant portion of my bitcoins into Firelotto.

Naturally the world of ICOs is unregulated and as a libertarian I am all for that. The blockchain and decentralized coins are a game changer for our ideology. But since the world of ICOs is unregulated, the level of due diligence must increase.

So I reviewed Firelotto's whitepaper. Their lotto already launched so we have a fully functioning service. People who speculate crypto tend to enjoy to gamble. There was a mild controversy where the organizers of this lotto wanted people to submit their private key (HUGE NO NO) but they have since reformed that.

Actually running this sovereign autonomous entity legitimately seems to make more sense than scamming investors especially since the service is running!

However one red flag sticks out in my mind.

A guy on youtube keeps making the following post:

Quote
SCAM ICO......Please don't invest in this project. You will regret it. Check out Cashpokerpro, the dev's first ICO. They took everyone's money and have delivered nothing. Now they are running this one. There are a lot of shady projects out there. Be safe.
