I didn't expect that there is a thread of Freewallet.org, I was also a victim of this kind of web wallet before when I was new in cryptocurrency. I have a token to their wallet with a high-value token and until now I didn't claim my token or transfer in another wallet.

By the way is Rosenfeld is the one who contacts here regarding that matter?

It almost a year I contacted to the support of Freewallet.org but no one happens only reply their gmail bot.
Well it says that Rosenfeld contacted the Interpol and managed to get his friend's money back, we can assume that Rosenfeld are probably one of the many victims who contacted Interpol.
Their Support are either abandoned or seized by the interpol, no wonder why you don't get any reply back from them Roll Eyes

Then again you won't find answers by bumping dead topic Roll Eyes
The only one who can answer your questions are Rosenfeld, It'd be better if you contact Rosenfeld directly via PM rather than waiting for him to show up.
Just a heads up, profanity are not allowed within the forum and it might get your post deleted Smiley

Its good that your friend got his money back. I guess those hardcore libertarians who are bordering as anarchists should realize that some government intervention is needed in BTC. The minute we are scammed we have really no choice but to go to the authorities. Tax money at work.

In this case it's extremely simple. These days it's pretty damned hard to find a wallet that doesn't give you control over your private keys. I genuinely do not know why anyone would choose one that doesn't.

WOW. Never heard of such a thing before. Good step taken and glad to hear that your friend got his money back. Would request you to post a detailed step by step guide on how to contact the interpol in a situation like your friends so that others can follow your steps.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
I never heard this waller before, so what coin does he stored here, since its this wallet you mentioned was multiwallet. Btw sorry for the loss of your friend. I guess there's no way he can get it back since this wallet was accused as mentioned above me. This must be spread through out so people will know about this thief wallet.

EDIT: It seems the issue was solved already since they gave back the coins, but I will not give my trust to this site, never.

Freewallet is having a varied review and i personally have not tried using it,because since i want more control over my coins i prefer saving it in my hardware wallet or in my light weight wallet according to how often i am going to use it and everyone must understand it is not all about purchasing the coins ,the most important part is how you are going to store your coins.

In all my years I've never heard of it. And there's well and truly no excuse not to have control over your private keys any more.

One page of googling throws up plenty of scam accusations, but that's par for the course.

Does it give any information on fees? A lot of these places pay no attention to them so a 24 hr delay is very possible.

If he does get access again then empty it and use one of the numerous options that do give you control.

A friend has kept a substantial amount of money in a hosted mobile wallet by freewallet.org, and is now unable to access it. He has sent an outgoing transaction which has been deducted from his account but does not appear on the blockchain.

The money has been stuck for a day, and he has tried contacting their support on multiple channels to no avail.

Is Freewallet legit? Is anyone in touch with its owners? Did other people encounter similar problems?

Are they simply experiencing overload as do all Bitcoin services currently? Or have they performed an exit scam?

Sorry, man.

I've been sceptical of this wallet because in this day and age when there are so many wallets where you control your own funds there is no reason to give your money to someone else to hold for you.

And freewallet is void of any founders and legit contact information or business registration.

Let us know how it turns out.
