Topic: Is Hhampuz responsible to pay $850 to Blender.io participants? (Read 815 times)

blender.io have been sporadic to say the least with their appearances here at the forum and rarely come online but when they do they, and they want to run the campaign, they send me the funds for the campaign about 1 week in advance. This time around they said they wanted to run it for at least two weeks so that is what I expected. Since the campaign is based on $ and not BTC I asked them to only send the funds one week in advance in case of drops/moons with the btc price. Now they haven't been online for about 9 days and it seems I just missed them to get the 2nd refill. I don't doubt that they will come back and send the funds for this 2nd week of advertising but at the same time I'm not sure if they forgot that we were going to do 2-weeks (they never quote messages in pm, only reply).

Either way, if they don't come online within the next 2 weeks (end of this month) I'll pay you out of my own pocket I suppose.

Full disclosure, I make $150/week that I manage the blender.io campaign. There's currently 0.013BTC left in the blender campaign wallet which I am in control of and if they don't come back online these 0.013BTC will be used to pay the $850 currently owed.

Also, if you are using this alt out of fear - please never fear things like these. I'm just as frustrated as you when campaigns can't be paid on time (if you've been in my campaigns you know I like to do payouts at a specific time just after the week has ended).

That's it, no need for any other bullshit that comes from this thread so just lock it and if I don't pay you end of this month you can unlock it again and give me shit.
It's quite impressive answer that made me satisfied. The best manager in the forum, please no hurt feelings. I'm so proud of what you'd stated.
I'll lock this thread and thank you for sharing your thought.

Reading the contents of the words @Hhampuz, I feel touched and proud, having the most honest person in this Forum.

You all heard, for the participants of the blender.io campaign, @Hhampuz gave time later this month and he was willing to spend his own money to be responsible for this matter, if (blender.io) does not refill the balance of the week that has already been completed.

Quite impressive and very clear, @Hhampuz is responsible for all this.

This is more a reputation issue of blender, they supposed to release the fund earlier to Hhampuz. I really don't get why Hhampuz name is here. It would make sense if you were talking about blender reputation and their clumsy behavior.
If blender don't pay Hhampuz and Hhampuz wants to pay from his pocket, I would really hate receiving that fund.

as stated, I know for a fact how much Hhampuz cares about what he does OP.

although after this shady fade pussy move if I find out who you actually are I am sure there will be more justification for tagging your real account.

It has been over a week since the campaign was over and until now no payment has been made.

According to Hhampuz in his last post in the campaign thread :
Hey Guys!

As of now I've been waiting for blender to get back to me (we only have forum pm's as communication) for a wallet top up but so far I've not gotten a reply.

As of now you can remove the Signature/Avatar and consider t he campaign paused again. I will try and get last weeks payments for your ASAP and let you know if we continue or not. I do apologize for the delay and I know it sucks.

I am asking the opinion of everyone who cares, who is oblige to pay when the promoter failed to pay?
I will lock this topic/thread if I've got satisfied answer.

lol OP, of course not?
according to what you posted, it seems they are at the mercy of blender.io filling the wallet...          Hhampuz's post seems proper to me?
noone in their right mind would expect them to pay you out of their own pocket, sig campaigns dont have the same rules a job IRL would u nut
honestly hhampuz didnt NEED to tell you guys shit, its was courtesy, please realize:   your NOT GUARANTEED ANYTHING in a sig campaign
(others have already told you this, but i figured i'd chime in so you dont think its only a few users that see it this way)

Anyone can run a campaign but red tag is guaranteed, that's what I pointed. May be you missed my point or I am not educated enough to point that. Sorry if faults from me. Negative tag has been given to a lot of manager if they don't come with escrow the payment. What's the difference between "Hhampuz managing a campaign didn't pay" and "new manager launched a campaign without escrow."? Then why tag on other manager before the week end even? Why red tag? Please, I would love to read the point, difference and educate myself.
I don't want to comment on anything about red tag.

But a newbie and one of the highly valued account of bitcointalk are not the same when it comes to open a signature campaign.Newbies should ensure his legitimacy by hiring an escrow but Hhampuz itself escrowed many occasions on bitcointalk so he doesn't need any escrows to open a campaign.

I doubt they could run a campaign without escrow the fund.

Loads of campaigns are not held in escrow, I would really advise you to educate yourself on a subject before commenting son

Disclaimer: I am currently participating in a signature campaign run by Hhampuz and have been for some time.

I looked at the OP of the campaign thread and don’t see anywhere that says Hhampuz is guaranteeing payments, nor that he is escrowing the coin to pay participants. There is the quote LoyceV posted above, but that is ambiguous. For these reasons, I don’t believe Hhampuz is obligated to pay participants. I also believe it would be wrong for someone to demand payment from Hhampuz.

With that being said, Hhampuz is going to have difficulty attracting quality participants if this kind of thing happens on a regular basis. I think the right thing to do is warn participants that he doesn’t have the coin from the business owner and participants can decide for themselves to take the risk of not getting paid, if Hhampuz does not want to guarantee the weekly payment.

I have zero interest in managing signature campaigns, but if I were in his position, I would extend credit to the business for one week to pay participants out of my own pocket.  I would also structure what I get paid so that if businesses don’t pay me, I am still making money and would set the expectation that businesses should pay upfront.

Obviously he is uncertain the campaign will refill the wallet. If he was certain, he probably would have paid campaigners out of pocket.

Don't know why you're bothering to comment about what you would or wouldn't do seeing as how you have "zero interest" in doing it.

Isn't it pretty obvious Hhampuz does this just as a job? You wouldn't hold the people working at payroll responsible if your boss doesn't pay your salary, would you?
I would really love to see no issue for Hhampuz in any campaign. He is a great manager.
What if instead of Hhampuz, the campaign manager was a new one? I doubt they could run a campaign without escrow the fund. Red tag is guaranteed as we have seen in two cases recently. The people now saying that "Hhampuz don't keep the responsibility." would fuck the reputation of the manager with red paint. I am damn sure that everyone here would put different opinion than the fact that manager was doing his job.
Nothing against Hhampuz. But that's the true.

First, there's this:
blender.io reserves the right to make any changes or end the campaign at any time. Each started week will be paid for in full.
But the alternative would have been this:
But my humble suggestion for any campaign managers while self escrowing a campaign will be, put you campaign paused when you doesn't have enough funds to pay the participants for the next coming week so participants were aware of the situation and let the participants to wore signature on their own risk.

It I'd be running the campaign, I would have filled it with disclaimers. But it's kinda sad that's necessary to protect your own reputation. This forum offers great opportunities, but it's still the internet, where guarantees are pretty rare.

Nobody is obliged to pay jack shit. You got paid anything at all by the Grace of God, and should be thankful you got what you did. If the only reason you are here on the forum is for the payday, you should just leave now and save the rest of us from having to read your forced shitposts.

Hey Hhampuz, you know what you could use right now? Some friends who aren't jellyfish. It is always some one else's problem until it is your turn at the stake. It is unfortunate you don't seem to see the relationship. Hopefully this doesn't turn into another Livecoin fiasco for you.

Only just seen this.

It’s just some coward posting from a throw away account. Hhampuz has absolutely no liability here, it’s all on Blender.io

Blender.io have questions to answer.

I agree.

I am one of the Blender's campaign and I don't have problem with what's going on. From the campaign's topic, there is no complaints about it, so far.

I do  neither say what OP said is a troll nor OP is a participant of that campaign but in case it turns out to be a troll, let's do this

I think that everyone should ignore such shit from newbie accounts. OP, if you want answer, write from your own. If you don't want to put you into an any risk, then why are you asking about the same other people?

He doesn't owe any funds to the campaign participants because it is not his fault since they didn't come online and no other communication that forum account.

But my humble suggestion for any campaign managers while self escrowing a campaign will be, put you campaign paused when you doesn't have enough funds to pay the participants for the next coming week so participants were aware of the situation and let the participants to wore signature on their own risk.

I often see this kind of announcement from yahoo when he doesn't get top-up for ongoing or next weeks.

Whoever you are, you seem to be someone very impatient and doesn't understand that it isn't Hhampaz's fault that Blender.io refused to refill the wallet. Just only one week and you are already trying to cause a storm, as thou you have never posted in the forum without wearing a signature or earning from your signature space at one point.

Come on, style up and be a little patient. Hhampuz is a pretty a cool CM who am sure will try to solve the problem.

I will lock this topic/thread if I've got satisfied answer.

The satisfied answer would only come if you posted from your original account. Now all will talk about why you hide you.

BTW I was also a participants and as I know forum message was the only way to reach the blender owner which is said by Hhumpuz. But on the site there are two email to Contact the team for supports and advertise discussion. I have sent that to Hhampuz yesterday. Maybe He have tried to contact by email.

Btw, yes 1 week of payments deals with no update from someone like humpuz is odd.
