Investing hugely in a great futuristic coin such as ETH is one of the wisest decision anyone can make at a point like this. The probability of it returning the trust and profits is just very high, just go for it.
Investing in ETH is the right investment. I also keep some of my deposit in the etherium. And I hope that in a couple of years I will be pleasantly surprised by my increased deposit.
Ethereum today is the most stable crypto regarded as a good prospect. It will be good idea to store some ETH. I try to hold 15% of my portfolio in ETH because it is one of the best and famous coins at the market
I would say ethereum is the best altocin ever. ANd ist the coin with the brightest future. There are so many utility tokens who are running on the ethereum blockchain. A lot of those project have a real use case. SO in future when those projects really runs and works with other companys, there will be no stop for ethereum. I think its the only altcoin who has potential to overtak bitcoin in value.

The volume of the Ethereum is high and therefore there is a possibility that the price will increase. And based on what I know, Many experts say that the price of ETH will be around $ 5,000 in the last year. So, just hold ETH until its price is cheap. Because it will follow what bitcoins did, where $ 200 it jumped $ 1,000 and now it's up to $ 20,000

there is nothing wrong you buy some eth to be invested. but do not focus on one coin just buy some coins that have good potential and promising like neo, ripple and others. this way you will not panic if one of the coins you hold does not fit your target.

I think there is a greater chance that NEO will be the coin that skyrockets in price, you can think of it like Ethereum 2.0, with smart contracts much more accessible to developers, and much better scaling and security properties. However, I do think Ethereum is undervalued compared to bitcoin, so it still likely has a lot of room for growth, just not as much as NEO. Either way, it's a good idea for you to invest in multiple coins (I'd also look into Zilliqa, it's another next gen coin).

First of all, no one has crystall ball here that will know what will be the happenings on the future.
Before investing in any aspects understand what it will be bring to you both positive and negative especially on cryptos. It may give you profit but on the other hand, it may give you loss.
We can say today that Etherium can be treated as coin that can stand strong in the future but let's not disregard those other things that might happened. If you understand how investing in crypto works then you might want to give that a shot.

I think that yes, that can not be bad strategy, cause you may know that price of eth rises with every ICO that is built on ethereum blockchain, on the other hand there are much more alternatives nowadays to ethereum platform, so I think eth may rise but not that fast this year.

I believe that ethereum can be next to the bitcoin. For now, the ethereum must high then the bitcoin must dump, so it shows that ethereum can be the key for the many investors.
I really do believe on the ability of Ethereum to grow in the future. I keep a few eth on my wallet and still want to have more. The more eth you have the more profit you will get in the long run.

Long term, I think Ethereum is probably the safest bet among all cryptocurrencies and tokens. In fact, it's one of the only ones that I'd give better than a 50/50 chance of growing in value long-term (and think it's likely to grow many times over).
People often face difficulties in choosing profitable altcoins but If we observe the market of ethereum since past year, the price has increased from $300-$1000 and can be seen above $2000 mark anytime. Ethereum is the only coin used in ICOs and most known after bitcoin, holding ethereum for future is really good

Yes because for me Ethereum is one of the cheaper Altcoin that is behind or following Bitcoin but not as mighty as the king though second popular coin on the market aside from Bitcoin. Ethereum has a potential to grow in the future because it is home of thousands of erc20 tokens based on Ethereum's platform. What I don't like about Altcoins most especially Ethereum is that it is also one of the most dependent coin to Bitcoin I mean the most affected when BTC price begins to fall. In terms of holding Ethereum I can say that it is worth it to hold it since it has big and strong community and of course much cheaper than Bitcoin.

I believe yes but there are more competitions now that I think are better or going to be better. I think NEM (XEM) will be fighting with NEM this year as I've read somewhere that they a lot are moving onto NEM.
Keep in mind that if you diversify your portafolio and start to invest in ICOs, most of them require you to participate using ETH since they tend to give you ERC-20 Tokens in return.
Hence your ETH amount will decrease when you start participating in ICOs. Of course you can always purchase more just before participating in the ICO.

It is always good idea to have more Ethereum. If I am in your position, I would split 60%-40% and will buy some NEO as well, because NEO is most serious competitor of Ethereum.
I think that in 2018 we will see whole market cap go trough 1 trillion dollars, which means that the curent prices will at least double, as far as bitcoin and ethereum goes, not sure about other altcoins as that is more violatile stuff

It looks like some people are trying FUD in this thread. The ethereum will not fully migrate to the pos system. That will become a good longterm investment. Dnn't be fooled by others are saying ethereum is not a longterm investment. They are ethereum haters. Casper will try to determine the total supply of ethereum and you can try to staking your ethereum in the blockchain. but ethereum is not fully become the pos coin. It's following hybrid system. That's what happened last year, the same question and inquiries when eth and bitcoin are still in that state of prices, then now the price increase not just the two coins but most of the altcoins are tremendously vast, if you are an early investor and waited for this moment of time then you probably gained 500 - 1000% return on investments, so they are going to increase again? always remember that history repeats itself, ETH are proven, tested and widely adopted throughout the ICO's.

You yourself said that the price of Ethereum repeats the trend of bitcoin. I don't think I need to keep all my savings in one coin. The main contribution should be in bitcoins. All other coins can make about 30% of your savings. I think that the price of bitcoin this year will rise by 2 times. The price of Ethereum will rise no more than 30-40 %. Yes its base on you on how will you take care of it to be true as base on what I learn you should be atleast aware on values in the market. Holding is good and nice if you are indid aware of everything like hacking and sharing your personal electronic stuff like cellphone and laptop were you use to open the wallet.
To me my main answer for the question is bitcoin its the best and no hassle when it comes to trading as now bitcoing is rising and have a great chance so its never been to late to invest on bitcoin, so go now and create a wallet (if you dont have any)and buy bitcoin.

There is no way you won't even have more Ethereum tokens, one of the things that help Ethereum is that is has simply the need to have your own blockchain when you want to run applications on blockchains, project like ICON, QTUM, Tezo, EOS, NEO etc are now in the same space with Ethereum to build on their infrastrucutre
