Gambling has always been popular. I would think a worsening economy would mean less money for gambling/entertainment.

So what has caused this change in behavior is the harsh economy that the world is experiencing made people to gamble or just awareness about gambling has increased?
Awareness about gambling increased significantly. Also people are now able to access the gambling sites easily. In the countries that have good economy and that their government allow gambling, also there is increasing gambling in such country.

Gambling has become popular with increase about awareness of gambling and with different gambling shops being located across the street and even online it will be very hard for you not to see an adds concerning one gambling company

Depending on the part of the world that where you're located but in my country we now see the elderly in gambling halls gambling with adults of their children's age  especially in virtual games this made me to wonder what must have caused this because few years ago in my country gambling was still seen as a lazy man thing and those gambling was tagged wayward

So what has caused this change in behavior is the harsh economy that the world is experiencing made people to gamble or just awareness about gambling has increased?
