latest question regarding the PSU.
could you please give me a reference ? I plan to buy 3 more Sapphire Nitro 380x in few months. A evga 1600w ?

This is better choice. With the 380x, you do not need 1600W. With 390, you need the 1600W and you have to undervolt.

Hello all,

I've go a GA-P35-DS3R with 1 PCI Express X16 slot and 3 PCI Express X1 slots (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2543#sp)

I plan to buy 3 r9 390 and connect them on it with a 1700W Lepa MaxPlatinum

is it a good idea / start ?

thank you in advance Smiley

no  first off the mobo is really old

but I question your choice of cards more then anything

380's or 370's are a better choice

also do you own that psu?

http://www.lepatek.com/eng/product_content/1/1/64/#produkte

it is multi rail

rail 1   20 amps >>>>> will not cover the 390
rail 2   20 amps >>>>> will not cover the 390
rail 3   30 amps
rail 4    30 amps
rail 5    30 amps
rail 6   30 amps

the 370's use 1 wire and will not overload the psu.

You musty check which PCI-e version is used.
Some problem may happen when u plug recent GPU on PCI-E 2.0 ports. (I mean, sometime its just impossible, even if, i know, theoretically, this should be ok, its not).

You're going to buy PCI-E x16 -> x1 adapter to plug GPU on x1 ports, right? Which one then?

I'm kinda looking for those kind of things
