Yeah Service Discussion in the Altcoin section was probably the best fit Smiley
I know, I should have known how to move a topic, but it's a function that you don't really use that often.

Thanks for the suggestion.

🖤😏
Still it should be on altcoin discussion. you are talking about altcoins.
Funny how a legendary member doesn't know how to move a thread. Wink
*We all make mistakes sir onliner.

*Refer to sir onliner edit.

EDIT: you could move it to service discussion in altcoin section.

Oh damn, I had spent at least 10 minutes looking for that 'move thread' button, since I was 99% sure that I had seen it already.
Was just at the bottom of the entire first page  Roll Eyes

Yup, I'm stupid. Thanks for helping me out though!

Edit: Do you think that Service Discussion would be a good fit for that thread? I really just want it out of Altcoin Discussion, so don't mind finding any other place Smiley

Or am I missing something and is it possible to move the thread in another way?
I am not sure if you know how to move a topic...

Scroll down a bit then on your left hand side look for move topic link

You will need to follow the next on screen instructions to move the topic successfully.

Let me know if that solves your problem.

PS: We all are stupid to some extent Smiley

Sir constructive poster of the year, OP didn't ask how to move a thread. indeed we all are stupid to some extent. Wink

OP, are you providing a service and have a Bitcoin payment? you could move it to service section if so. however if a mod has moved your thread, do not move it again or create a new one somewhere else under any circumstances. you should also report your thread to moderators and ask for permission instead of opening a thread.

You got me OP.  Wink

This is allowed as long as you move the thread to a section that is relevant to your topic.
I'd like to move my overview thread from Altcoins to Service Discussion, because it's just impossible to get any serious discussion going there.
Also, I think it's a better section, since many overview threads seem to be there.
I think it would be better to move your thread to Service Discussion without creating a new one. "Both options are available to you"

The only exception is selfMod topics
The selfMod bit will now be permanently cleared when a non-mod moves a topic into a section which doesn't allow selfMod.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'd just like to be sure if it's allowed.

Also, I think it's a better section, since many overview threads seem to be there.

Would it be okay to lock my existing thread and open a new one in Service Discussion?

This is the thread in question:

Or am I missing something and is it possible to move the thread in another way?
