Your question is inaccurate. You always can get in and get out easily. It is advantage of crypto market that is opened 24/7 and your orders can be filled super quickly on big exchanges with good trading volume.

Issues are whether
- Your entry is good enough
- Your exit is good enough. Whether it brings you a draw, a small loss or a good profit.

How long will your position can be opened? If you want to invest in 1 month, but it takes more than 3 months to pump, and you exit around 1 month, you can end with a draw, small loss or serious loss. But if you can hold your position 3 months, you can get good profit.

Of course it changes since the price of the Axie increases then the price of the starting team or when you buy a team increases too, what I''m not sure about is the rewards on every matches you will receive if you win since I see the SLP was dropped before I'm not sure what happened right now but maybe if they can find more use of the SLP the price of it will pump again.

I'm not much of a gamer but I've been looking to put out a scholarship for someone to put in the hours playing the game. I'm hearing things have changed now and okay, I understand there's more competition now so it's probably harder to win, but also the rules of the game have changed a little. Those things do not worry me to much to be honest, as I'm not a gamer. I invested in the token when it was around $20 or $30, so it's already payed off for me. What I'd like to know is if getting started for a gamer is more expensive now than it was 4 or 6 months ago when AXS was relatively cheap. A solid team ( which you need to purchase to get started ) costed about $800 or so a few months ago. Has that changed now that the AXS token is more expensive ?
Now it costs around 1200$ to gain a team and start playing.
As you are not fond of computer gaming, it is a wise decision for you to find someone to play instead of you using your account. It is called scholarship programs and you can find a guy on a platform that exists for the propose of looking for Axie Infinity players.

If I'm you, I'll buy with the floor Axies that has good cards. They're cheaper than before, I remember the price of a chop Axie was priced in at 0.07 Eth but the price of Eth wasn't that high before. Just for starting, even if the price of AXS is quite high today, the price of Axies can be said cheaper this time. There are more Axies today and that's why demand has become lower because the supply in the marketplace has gone a lot. It's the best time to buy for beginners.

You're totally wrong about that.
4 months ago AXIES has been reaching the peak price and it needs a lot of money to buy 3 axies to be able to play the game. That's different with the current condition when you can get axies floor very cheap from the market https://marketplace.axieinfinity.com/axie? You can even check it directly on the market. A few months ago an axie floor cost around $500 - $600 but this time it's only cost you $110 - $150. that's almost 4x less.

A solid team ( which you need to purchase to get started ) costed about $800 or so a few months ago.
it might be more than it. I remember that it will cost you around $1800 - $2200 to get a team to play axie infinity.

Has that changed now that the AXS token is more expensive ?
It has changed now as more utility for axs available. You can also use axs for staking to get passive income as well. The thing has changed slowly.

crzy brought up a good point that you just need to find a good player and I agree. You won't find the cost of your investment  that can expensive if you know you have someone reliable that get it back for you in a few months time. Rules have also changed a lot since the beginning of the year and I think that favors bigger players and investors.

The rules of the game and the value of AXS is corrected. If the rules of the game is in favor of the breeders, that will make them buy more AXS to breed more because it's a requirement to produce another Axie.

On the other hand, if the update is good then there will be another demand for AXS because there are people who would love to stake their AXS and receive a passive income.

Value of Axies are also relevant to the price of AXS.

AXIES today are more cheaper, see it for yourself and look for your preferred team since the cost will vary from skills that you are looking for, but for sure its way cheaper as of posting.

I’ve been investing on axie, and my first time to fully invest because I see the opportunity and based on my calculation ROI is just within 3 months not guaranteed but a more possible to happen. Invest only what you can afford to lose, consider also the current value of SLP and compute your own timeline.

Even if you’re not a gamer, you can easily understand the game system of Axie Infinity, and since you’re holding AXS since then, why doubt now? As you can see its value continues to increase so i still believe that it is still worth to invest on axie, you just have to look for a better players that are more focus to complete the daily task and reached the quota.

I'm not too focused on this NFT game, but as far as I know if you really want to try playing, maybe there are many other alternative NFT games that you can try. Of course, at a cost that is still relatively cheap compared to 10x from Axie, which you know yourself there is crowded and it is difficult to really have an ideal place as a beginner gamer.

There are many games but it's up to you, because as a starting point to start p2E is a pretty important skill. So try for a while to find another NFT game as an alternative.

Judging by the current price of axs definitely will be more expensive to get in now as a gamer than few months back, like you said, the competition is much higher and wining is a bit harder than before, so it is upto you to decide if you want to try it out or find an alternative, perhaps there are other play to earn games out there that are not yet too competitive and still not very known with reasonable price.
If you bought your axs so early and haven't sold then you should really count yourself lucky and just continue to hold.
