I have seen this bet on betmoose.com/bet/florida-hurricane-warning-3166 @betmoose over hurricane warning on the national weather website. Now that 'Increasing chance' Hurricane Irma could affect Florida, maybe it might be a good idea to place a bet. so if I'm affected by the Hurricane (because I live in Florida) I might be able to hedge my losses.

At least in the quest of trying to make the best out of every situations by making money, there should still be some level of morality in all we do and betting on natural disasters such as this is not a way to go. This is an outcome if it happens that will leave a lot of people homeless and lost their lite investment and betting for that to happen to me, means mocking them and making money out of their misery which is not so good if you look at it intuitively.
