Yes, it is possible to post that kind of information, actually that this is really great because that has been processed and analyzed by some other people. As long as it is not plagiarism or you do not copy it on some other research papers everything would be fine. Things always change so we all need research to be knowledgeable about what is happening in our world. Research is a systematic doings and all things behind it should be legit and based on the updated world system.
Please make sure that what you posted is from your own research, not copy and paste from papers of the others (plagiarisms cause permanent bans) or copy and paste with source links is also terrible. I consider the second one as one of spam with fake efforts to include contents. But the contents are not yours, instead, they are of others.
Research should not contain any plagiarism because if that should have something information plagiarized by others' work it would not be passed.

Not your keys, not your coins!
I don't see how it's terrible, there are some good or interesting research that barely anyone know since it's not covered by any news media.

I saw some members do this and it sparks good discussion.
For outstanding articles, I agree with you and honestly I learn from it too. The terrible topics are the ones share something like news, and users do it simply to hunt for merits but too lazy to read, learn and write something from their knowledge or experience. They are too lazy to learn and make their own topics. Just copy, paste, leave source link, write some words and finish their works.

My question is, is it okay to post our research papers on Bitcoin Forum?
Why not. As long as it's not spam content.

If it is allowed, where can I post those papers?
Completely depends on what the paper is specifically about.

Is it about Bitcoin? Then it's for the Bitcoin Discussion[1] section.
Is it about altcoins? Then it's for the Altcoin Discussion[2] section.
Is it about trading? Then it's for the Trading Discussion[3] section.
