Not only is it possible, it is highly probable sometime this year we get some good news and make some sort of bull run. It may not match the run last year in Spring, or the later run in Winter but you can be sure you will make some of that coin back. If you aren't confident in crypto anymore though, you can sell anytime in the free market and alleviate your pain.
We can say that the market would catch up definitely but we can also say that it won't. We never can tell what the market's future holds for us. All we have to do is be prepared for what will happen and try to be more optimistic. Think and plan also other ways on how we can cope up from what we have lose.
It's more than possible, if bitcoin can raise from nothing to something, then anything is possible. In Crypto ecosystem impossibility is no no.... The market needs some form of balance, with time everything will go back to normal.
Patience is need when you are investing in crypto you should know that because bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies i highly volatile, you should know also there's a risk if you invested on this.
So, to lower the risk much better to hold a long-term if you don't like to lose, just wait and stay calm on this situation now, trust is needed on this kind of business and at the same time patience.

I would say,the posibilities of getting back your money will be less,because the market is getting dumped by these big players probably the financial insitutions are the ones who are manipulating the bitcoin's value as of the moment. We need to calm down and wait for these people to end this bloody market,because whatever we do there will be bloody markets!
Sorry to hear about your loss there. However, if you try and look at past trends of the coins that you're holding onto, then you may have an ideal picture of what the future holds for those altcoins or BTC's that you have. From my point of view and experience from reading through some threads in this forums, I believe you should be able to recover either you break even or minimize your losses because you did lose a lot.
We are now in a bear market and how long it will last is unknown. Maybe until June, maybe a couple more years ....

Yeah. It’s totally unsure whether you will be able to recover your loss and gain profit soon enough because the market has seen deep correction and might take 1-2 year to recover totally if government continues to regulate it. If you want to cover your loss, I would suggest you to keep buying more coins in each dip you see and sell it again when it pumps by 20-25%. Slowly and steadily you will be able to cover your loss and experience significant profit when market recovers. just keep holding, who knows, a miracle may happen one day. You definitely bought at the wrong time.
You pretty much bought at the highest point of both bitcoin and altcoin, and with some cryptos losing 80% or more of their peak values, it's really no surprise that your portfolio has dropped to such lows.
There is definitely more than a chance of you recovering your funds. However you do need patience. You have made the wrong decision to put so much money into crypto at one time, now you just need to wait it out until the next rally comes.
There is no other option because you've already lost more than 80% of your investment, and even if you cash out, you'd be only looking at 20% which is virtually next to nothing. Take the risk, you will probably get your $50k back come the next crypto-summer.
It’s the rule of crypto to always buy when the others are selling and always sell when the others are buying. In this way you can save yourself the trouble of getting caught in loss due to corrections and market dips.

The chance is definitely there. In the market, there is no constant drop in the Crypto currency. Also there is no constant growth. The market is cyclical. Therefore, after this fall, growth will begin. No one can say for sure when this happens. But it will happen necessarily.
Sad to see those figures but you are not alone. I myself is also losing a lot reason why tried to relax and lie low on trading. If you are holding good coins then chances are it will recover back soon. Just don't lost hope, relax, stay away from too much monitoring and go to a vacation.

As your portfolio is quite much down currently, it will take at least 7-9 months for your loss to recover and for you to see profit on your investments. You will get your investments back for sure; you will just have to be patient and HODL for at least a year or so. The market will soon recover and be back on bullish track.

It depends on what coin you invested in. I am quite sure you did not invest in major coins because the price dropped only about 50% but your portfolio dropped way more. If it is shitcoin, even if the market recovers, yours may not. But if you have some top coins in your portfolio, then I am sure those may recover in the future.
Many tokens are in for a rough road ahead. I think too many of them rose exponentially with the price of ETH, without any regard for their real value. A lot of scammers made off with millions and some even did so legally by selling hopes and dreams of getting rich to people. I don't think (well actually I hope) that most of those tokens never recover and the stupidity stops there. It takes time and work to create a successful project. There are so many projects that have been steadily getting better since 2014 that got dwarfed by brand new projects that essentially did nothing but make promises.
There is a big possibility that it will recover the value that you invested but you hold it all the time unless the cryptomarket will bounce back to its normal increase as the demand will continue adjust over the cheapest price. Lesson learn from you is avoid invest in a high value because even though you have invested it a potential coin but it suffer a long profitabilty if the situation is like this market trends crazy down fall.

I believe that the ether as well as other altcoins grow along with bitcoin, and when everything was feverish due to forkkoin fork, the broadcast dropped more than twice, indicating that without the success of bitcoin, the ether is back to $ 10 per unit.

About two years from now. The main thing in this is what coins you invested, most likely bitcoin and various inexpensive altcoins. The whole market was a hype last year which may be one of the reason why it dumped too low this year. Despite of all the red days of the crypto market, I still believe that it will recover. Maybe not too soon but maybe after summer.

I quite believe that the market will recover very soon because through out this year,2018 we not have seen any stable and consistent growth. The recent news from the G20 is strong enough to cause market prices to soar in the following months to come. I am really surprised as to how you came down so low. It must be some funny altcoins you invest in that gave you this low you are experiencing. Market will boom but if you are not holding some good coins, your portfolio may take a long time to recover
Probably, you might have invested a coin that you think could increase more profit which in effect doesn't really go to the right direction to be more profitable. Most likely you had chose the not so good coin in the crypto market but for now, I would have to suggest to hold your coin since this is the best option for you to do which is HODL your coins. Just wait for the time being that btc will pump up more thus affecting the alts and pulling it's price back upwards and with this, you may gradually recover your losses.

Also, if you see any Legendary member with an account made on 2012 - 2013 and still shilling altcoins, then there is a good chance that person is still bagholding hehe. So that would be 5 - 6 or more years for some coins to go back to breakeven.

I don't mind holding but I have to learn how to diversify so if some of my holdings will still stagnant, I am sure somehow there are coins

Oh, that's a little sad! But not really worth any whine or complaint or even a little frustration about crypto investment. Worry not, firstly, because you are not alone. All of us are investing in the same crypto market. And when the market is going down, all of us will also go down. We are in the same train. When the market starts rising, then all of us will also be going up. That is what the crypto train is all about. Secondly, you do not need to worry because the bullish period is happening very soon and you will not only get back your $50,000, you might be getting back $200,000 or more.

I'm pretty sure that you have nightmares seeing your portfolio going down. But hey, you are not the only one suffering. Almost everybody, although I have investments, but its not big as yours. It just really sad and felt very frustrated that after enjoying so much money in December, comes the suffering.
But don't give up, don't cut your losses by selling, but instead just continue to hold because I very positive that one way or another we will bounce back and can get to at least break even mid year. So just hold your horses and don't do something stupid that you will regret later.
there's way too many coins currently that has no real reason to exist, it's just a way to get a huge fund by jumping on the latest trend kinda..

I think that there is always a posibility that it can catch up again. When? Noone know. When we based on the trend now. I think it will take more time before it can catch up again.

Of course it is. If you have invested what you could afford to lose and no need to sell your investment for your daily needs then why not hodl your coins until they get back to the prices that you bought? In cryptocurrency it is often the weak hands who take a beating when there is FUD, and often the strong, calm investors fulfill their targets by holding onto their investments.
Hodl bitcoin is a long-term strategy that requires the resilience and courage of beliefs but which I believe will pay off.

Must be frustrating to see how much had been lost from your investment. Its not going to even make your mind even if we tell you to hold on because the market is going to be back soon. Believe I have seen all these happen every time the market goes up sure it may not relieve you now but you might wanna forget this nightmare first and be back after months or years.
The crypto market will surely go back to what it was kast year or bloom further but only time will tell. For now just hold your coins/tokens and do not panic as you will just lose all of your investmenta. Would also suggest that you add more coins/tokens while their price is low overtime as it will accumulate to your profits. Wow! You have been hammered by the recent downfall of the market. What did you invest that has cost you this much? I hope you didn't go for some shitty altcoins. If you have invested in Bitcoin and altcoins among the top list then you should hodl all of them as your portfolio is already down to an astonishing number. Yes the market is in correction with so many anti cryptocurrency movement from social network sites to government rules. But I guess even with these negativity the market is doing quite good. Let's not forget that the news from G20 summit has been very positive towards cryptocurrency. My assumption is once they gather a list on how to regulate cryptocurrencies globally the market will boom once again.

That plunge seems to be too much. What did you invest in that dropped as low as that. If that is what you have experience, i think it will be better you hold, so as to loose totally. I believe the cryptomarket will get better any time soon. We all hope for the better. We have also seen that signs of good omen with the presented pump in prices even if it is not that much, but i believe that gives a picture of good things to come.
