What Dash crash. Dash is up again and in a train that does not seem to stop.

But let's be fair now. There is no reason for this increase so it's whales at work.

Investing in Dash now can be a major risk and both a major chance to earn money.
The average thing that happens here on BCT.

I know that this is sort of an Altcoin discussion, but i thought it might be relevant considering that it was Roger ver and he was trying to make a point against Bitcoin.

So my point is, by Roger Ver sending $100,000 in Dash to pay someone, Did he inadvertently cause the Sell off?  The recipient of the payment probably had to sell the dash into bitcoin as i am sure any businessman worth his salt is not going to hold that sort of money in dash, if it was a business transaction.  whats your thoughts?
This guy is true.

It seems like it was fake just to promoting the dash coin by roger ver.

I just never liked this whole project.

1) The fact that this coin is documented to be heavily mined by Evan, the creator (before it was Dash and it was called Darkcoin)

2) The fact that masternode model has been shown to be exploitable angles that I have not seen properly refuted

3) The fact that they hired Amanda B Jonhson, some cute girl that was a former car salesman and it's obvious they invested heavily on mindless promotion for the mainstream (apparently it worked since we saw a massive pump)

As expected, pump and dump is what we saw, everyone going back to BTC already.

I think that story is bullshit, they would lost a fortune to volatility, there's something more to this story.

Every one is complaining about high fees and confirmation delays, but that hasn't impacted the price of bitcoin, on the contrary it keeps rising.

I wounder if it will impact the price when stories like this becomes the norm:

Money is only good if you can spend it...

Most people treat bitcoin as gold so they dont care if they have to pay higher fees and the transaction is slower as long as their holdings are decentralized and outside of government reach which is the main selling point of bitcoin. People can pay with paypal so they don't care to make payments frequently with btc.

It depends on dash buying/selling/trading volume.

If in the past 24 hours people bought a total of $5,000 in dash coin.

Then someone sells $100,000 in dash.

The disproportionate market quantity of sellers in contrast to buyers would push the price down.

When there are many more sellers than buyers it can also cause panic and a lemming effect.

Its not necessarily sinister or a conspiracy, maybe fundamental supply & demand.

When something is in low demand to where everyone is selling & no one is buying, its normal to expect a price decrease.

Roger Ver has become the scapegoat for everything, because he is not the Bitcoin Jesus anymore... right? This is quite a serious allegation and

one that would possibly not go down well with him, because he is known for being a bit...well how can I say it... "hot headed"? The guy has

dropped a few thousand dollars into Bitcoin also, or mby even millions... so are we going to blame him for Bitcoin crashes too?

It was a legitimate question,  not a statement to attack roger, i happen to like the guy and can clearly see that he still has a passion for bitcoin.  I just happen to believe he is wrong regards scaling.  Whoever roger sent the $100,000 to probably converted it to bitcoin which would def have had an effect on the price of dash.

when bitcoin rises altcoins crash because altcoiners sell their crapcoins to ride the BTC rise.

not always, and dash rised when bitcoin is pumped, this is prove that you're wrong,

not always. some coins are used for arbitrage to rinse and repeat the profiteering of bitcoin rises. and as the side affect causes a rise of some altcoins as part of an arbitrage route.

but CRAPcoins.. the ones that are not available on multiple exchanges to use as arbitrage routes do drop. and if dash loses grip of a couple exchanges to not be used for arbitrage then you wont see the occassional rise when bitcoin rises. and then that altcoin joins the crap coin scenario of dropping when bitcoin rises

not always, and dash rised when bitcoin is pumped, this is prove that you're wrong, and i don't think roger caused any dump, the market is what make a pump or a dump, these new can't do anything big, what i see is a normal correction from the peak, are people so blind that believe a pump will last forever? after a pump always a dump come, remember this

when blockstreamer cultists run out of technical arguments to dgend the broken segwit. they have to scrape the barrel of social attacks.
whilst i believe 90% of blockstream cultists havnt even bothered reading code and just jump straight to the social attacks it does become funny that less and less people can defend blockstreams tech.

segwit is broke before its even used. and they are angry so have to blame someone for anything to take their frustrations out on

I have heard this information yesterday, this is a pity for Bitcoin, although I'm a lover Bitcoin, I work and income Bitcoin, however, unfortunately for dash coin, it has a coin is evaluated fairly, I think it should be developed further, so sad when it crashed, I do not know exactly why, hope your information is correct. Accidents happen, and as a result people have to suffer, there are many who love dash coin, they use it as its official currency, this has brought disaster to happen to, they almost lost all the money crisis, I was hoping to have certain measures to overcome, if not, a lot of people have difficulty.
