I never heard of borrowing altcoins, may be there is a concept of borrowing but i dont think so.
There's a lending platform with altcoins like Ethlend, Bitconnect and Davorcoin. I'm not a fan of these platforms because they are scams and BCC has showed its real intention to the investors. Together with bitcoin it has increased to a nice price until the market starts to be shaken from hundreds of dollar now down to a single digit in value so I would tell everyone who are asking about these to stay away from it. And for someone that really wants to borrow altcoins with a valid collateral you can visit Lending section of the forum.

To clarify, I am asking if there is any service or company out there that can lend cryptos agains some collateral. Anyone has experience using such a service? What type of collateral would be necessary?
Maybe you can see and try some of these loan places.

https://www.saltlending.com/
https://crediblefriends.com/
https://www.bitbond.com/
https://www.othera.io/

Good luck.

It seems like nothing like that I just heard of this loan is highly unlikely to exist

I have no idea about company will borrow you cryptos, but there are ICO that hasn't been in the market. I'll try to research something about this then i'll help you to blog it here. You should buy cryptos right now. Price is very cheap and make a huge return after it blows up to the top!

Why would you do that!! I dont think we have such agreement to purchase the altcoins. Why not you try the ICO and do some research before investing on ICO. ICO's are good if you know what you are doing..

I havent still seen some company or service that do offer such lending with cryptos but i have seen some trust people on this forum which do offer lending service but you would really need a valid collateral depending on the amount you are tending to borrow. You can see it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=88.0 most of them are on btc but yet there are some do offer some alts.

Not faced with such services. I think there are big commissions, even if they are. The cryptocurrency market is a very risky market.

Even if now there is no such service. Then I'm sure that will soon appear. After all, the world of crypto currency is developing so rapidly

No, there are some lending coins like Salt who lend you cash for your altcoins, but I haven't heard of borrowing altcoins.

Well if the collateral you offered is valid maybe they can lend you thier cryptos.   I never had this kind of service before but you can try if you want.

I don't think they have that kind of transaction, maybe if you ask some old bitcoiner who has that kind of token. Good luck

I think there are such services, but I can not imagine how the commission for services will be calculated there, the base for payments will be determined, and the main thing is how to ensure safety. Hope somebody share the link for such service
