Are there any exchanges that allow you to actually but at spot price? Ive never used coinbase or anything like this, The only place ive ever bought is localbitcoins and its always well over spot price and then theres lbts fees on top of that as well. With the prices the way they are i dont really want to be spending more than i have to when buying.
There is no practice of using future prices of bitcoin for any purposes. Almost all the exchanges are quoting spot prices only, interestingly only very few exchanges are having provisions to trade bitcoin futures. So, I believe, you will be able to buy bitcoins at spot prices at any exchanges.

On the exchangers you always have to pay the fee so at the end you can't buy at the spot price. Localbitcoins is good choice especialy if you have some seller you have some history of trading then you can even negotiate the price. Anyway, there is always good offer with variety of prices.

I find localbitcoins premiums waver all over the place. When the price is on the rise they tend to become vomitous, when it's going sideways or down I've noticed it was very closely priced to the exchanges. It's something worth keeping a regular eye on.

I'm pretty sure OP is a newbie when it comes to exchange websites. Trading sites basically let's you do this. You can also do this by buying at other people and say that it is your price. If it's not that much difference than the current price, then maybe the seller would just consider it as your transaction fee and let you buy some coins at that price. I guess OP has got his answer now based on his previous reply, I suggest that he lock this thread before spammers come in.

Exchanges always charge a fee and hence you cannot buy bitcoins at spot price. Circle would be the best option for US and UK citizens where they charge 0.5% above the market rate while Coinbase would be the second option but the fee is more than Circle.

there is always some kind of fee involved in all the exchanges and these fees are always a lot higher when you get fiat involved.

and there is absolutely no way of escaping these fees. even if you go on localbitcoins or any other place to buy from an individual you may not pay any fees but you will pay a lot higher to buy bitcoin.

So go with the local trader who is near by your location and so that you can negotiate the rate and get some bitcoins on the direct fiat currency trade. Other option is you can buy bitcoin debit card like xapo card and use it directly in the ATM and make fiat transaction on that.

if you mean to buy bitcoin at the current market price then you have all the popular exchange services as your options try one that you like or have fiat deposit/withdrawals that you like:
- Kraken
- bitfinex
- bitstamp
- coinbase
- btc-e
- c-cex

i suggest Kraken and also c-cex because of their many different deposit/withdrawals options.

Thanks , i actually have accounts with both kraken and c-cex but there was an issue buying with them that i cant remember now. I will take a look into it and see if i can do something with it now.

its a good option to buy with localbitcoins and you should nego for the price and i think there is market exchangers that allow us to buy with spot price. but actually, i don't mind to buy with regular price on the market exchanger.
