Or, the more time you seed, the more coins you "mine".

Does that mean that the faster the connection, the higher the coin you get?
It would seem so, but I think that that would be quite nice for the torrenting community as a whole

I see what OP wants. He wants to be rewarded for seeding a BT file Cheesy
So who is going to mine the blockchain? seeders or leechers?

Seeders are more important.

What do you think?

Does that mean that the faster the connection, the higher the coin you get?

The more bytes you seed, the more coins you "mining".

So you want to create a new BT client and create an incentive (by offering seeders some coins) for people to use it, am I getting it right?

Yes.

Do you mean uploading information on the a system to get the altcoin?
How do you keep track of the information which is uploaded is useful?

Proof-of-upload or proof-of-seeding. A combination of bittorrent client and alt-coin. You seed something and you get coins.

I mean for bittorrent. Seeding torrents or something like that.

Ahh so you mean "seeding" or uploading bits of data for others to use? Like a node or something? I thought the nodes of the bitcoin network has some kind of incentive? Or was I wrong all the time? :3

Let me ask Google.

Never heard of proof of upload, could you possibly give more details?

Or are you talking about something like decentral cloud, where people are "mining" with their hdd's.

People can then store files in the blockchain, which is a great concept.

What exactly is a proof of upload? Sending bits of data? How would that work? I‘m sorry but my senses couldn‘t make up anything about this proof of upload thing.
