Nice idea, but if you create your address on a third-party site you will receive your private key also on third-party site, am I right? If I am, this is not good at all, if you dont want to donate some money for sharp-witted programmers that made this site Wink

There are some website offering a custome wallet address but its too risky to use these addresses it might get you in a bad situation.

Yes its possible but you can only use a-f and 0-9, not too much of a custom address with fancy words though.

As far as I know, it's impossible to create an ETH-purse with a certain desired set of numbers, letters and symbols. You can only create the usual method of a lot of purse and choose among them like. It seems to me that there are no other options.

I think if such requests appear, then the solutions will soon appear.
But I do not understand why all this. It is important here that inside and not outside.

I think it's impossible, you only can generate a BTC address that you like but with ETH address I don't think you can do it and I never seeing anyone can generate an ETH address the same as they like Smiley)

There is maybe an opportunity, also to create a custom ETH address, like I found on github.
https://github.com/Limeth/ethaddrgen
But I don't know, how reliable the code is and whether it is, what you are looking for.
Thanks for the link.
I want to reply my own question. Yes, it is possible. The program by the link generates a private key and then checks if the generated address matches your desired pattern. If not, generate another private key. It repeats until it finds a private key that could lead you to the pointed address. The more pattern symbols you point, the more time it takes. As an ETH address contains 40 symbols after "0x" it may take the whole eternity to go that way with a common PC.

There is no testimony if that was working 100 percent. As far as i know that the only possible thing to generate the random wallet. Or you can try to use the ens domain to be your wallet name.
To generate the special name of wallet address just like if you are using the bitcoin qtwallet to generate the address is not possible.

Far as i know you are not able to do that.

That kind of stuff can only be done with those bitcoin wallets that support vanished addresess. And ethereum does not have that function, it doesnt matter what kind of wallet provider are you using.

But in the end, they all are the same, most of those vanity addresess are randomly generated and they are not safe at all, so the best thing that you can do is just use the one that your wallet is giving to you.

And if you are just using an offline wallet, and you want to switch to a vanity address, you are just doing the opposite of what the hardware wallet is giving to you, the "safety".
