The US does not consider Bitcoin legal tender, so strictly speaking, earnings only in Bitcoins are non-taxable.

If you pay me for my work in pasta, I still have to declare it on my taxes.

Ad astra.
Is it possible for people like me who are under 18 (or 16 or whatever your country says adult), don't have to pay tax yet,

Maybe off topic, but if you have income, you have to file taxes regardless your age, at least in the USA.

You are correct, though, in and of that age does not protect you from taxation.

Not when you're earning amounts where 4 BTC is substantial.   ;-)

Really, is it impossible to have people like me to claim my things from GLBSE back?

Risk are everywhere on the financial market... but this one... is just somehow unexpected

I don't think you are any less eligible to get your money back than anyone else just because you are under 18.

To be honest, if it's an insignificant amount like 3 BTC I'd just walk away. The potential shitstorm that looks to be bearing down on this part of the bitcoin ecosystem is *not* worth risking getting caught in for such a small amount.

You'll never have your childhood again, don't waste it on this shit.  Go out, make mistakes, have fun, be a kid.  Don't sit around here wasting your money pretending to be a big-shot investor on internet funny-munny.

I don't think you understand the concept of <100% net returns on a monthly basis. Nobody is wasting nor losing money here.

You goons might be when it comes to opportunity cost.

you may find someone who will ID on your behalf then give you the coins he receives. The tricky part is to find that someone willing to  Wink

I could do it for one person, if it could be interesting for me.

You know, if you were willing to split the shares & BTC 50/50 to redeem people's accounts, you might have a business there.

Buying ID-less GLBSE acounts with all necessary information for 15% of any BTC redeemed! Grin

Edit:
Since I started getting actual offers on this (Ô_ô):  THE ABOVE IS A SLIGHTLY SARCASTIC REMARK; NOT A SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!
If you have a serious amount of BTC and shares on your GLBSE account (serious amount = in the area of a few 100 EUR at MtGox rates) maybe we can still work out a deal, but even in that case I would recommend anyone to just put the offer publicly in the marketplace as there might be other trusted (am I trusted?!) members of the community offering the same cheaper...
