I wanted to know if anyone has an answer for me. If i still have my public/private key, can i withdraw the BTC that i previously put into PlusToken using those methods since Plustoken has shut down?
its already answered  above its scam project there is no way you can have back your money stolen by them . Just forget about it and move on that the only thing you can do by this time. Find other investment that will not turn scam someday legitimate real world business  what you should looking now not any investment scheme that offer some amount of money in exchange for your investment.
It baffles me how people in 2020 still invest in Ponzi schemes and yes PlusToken was a smart scam as they pretended like they are using the money from people in developing wallet and other services but one has to imagine the abnormal returns they were providing was beyond imagination and if they had such a sustainable and scalable project they would have taken loans from banks.

The worst part when I was reading about their scam was they left a message in transactions which read as "sorry we have run" this just makes me so angry I mean like scamming was not enough for them so they decided to rub wounds with salt. I mean how inhuman one can get now a days, it is beyond imaginations.

You already know the answer to that, plustoken has turned into a scam, in fact one of the largest scams in history, and you have no way to get that money back, unfortunately for you and anyone that ‘invested’ in it now you will have to suffer the consequences of your mistake, more experimented users on the forum warn constantly about the risks of investing in HYIPs and this is the reason why, we want newbies to earn money and increase their capital but they need to do it in a realistic way, HYIPs always collapse without exception, several of those responsible for the scam have been arrested but I do not see any mention of any of the funds being recovered and even if part of it is recovered you will have to demonstrate you invested in the project and how you got that money on the first place.

The money is gone. PlusToken was a Ponzi Scheme that collapsed and the high-level scammers run with the money. They signed a Bitcoin transaction with the message "Sorry, we run".
So as you can understand there is no way to get your money back. Any cryptocurrency you send them was deposited in wallets controlled by the scammers and most of the BTC they extracted have already been sold through various OTC desks. Sadly the money is gone. I understand that it is frustrating and I don't know if there will ever be justice delivered on this instance.
You need to move on and never trust anyone, especially projects that guarantee high returns.

OP did not come back here to clear his questions he doesn't seem to understand that once he sent his coins there is no way to get it back even if he owns the private keys, I wonder he buys and invests without understanding anything about how this technology works, question is very unclear and will be misinterpreted by readers.

Plus token, cloud token same ponzi shill. You all won't listen when you're warned. You were convinced by the so called leaders that made money off of you by making you join.
Bad news, there's no way to get your investment back because they ran already. I don't know how much you lost actually but I don't think any legal steps is going to work things out because you would spend more money on it more than you invested.

No, you can't get it back anymore.

That's right, the answer is very simple. A big NO. I don't know why the OP is asking it here. Does he really think that he has the chance to get it back?
It's ok to ask. He seem innocent and that's why he's asking if there's a slight chance of getting back what's lost to him. I didn't even gave attention to that plustoken but it's surprising that a lot of people has been victimized by that scam.
As a matter of fact, the last time when the market plunged, it was reported that btc from this scam has been sold and that's the reason we have experienced a massive dump.

I think this is impossible, especially if the project ends in a scam. The funds that you provide will automatically be taken by the project developer to enjoy. My suggestion is more selective especially if you participate in ICO, because in my opinion for now it is very risky.

Most of those who have lost money in PlusToken has given up their efforts and moved on. Perhaps you should also do the same. It has been more than a year and the masterminds are still at large. A few of the fringe players have been arrested, but no coins have been recovered from them. And all the while the stolen coins are being laundered on various exchanges, such as Kraken, Bitstamp and Mercado.

Its a big scam and it's all over crypto news sites the authority will surely find a way to recover all those stolen funds but surely not most of it and small investors might not get their funds back and it will take a lot of time months or even years.

Honestly I'm never seen anyone claiming here that has recovered a money invested in scam projects, usually the game is just accept the loses but never forget as you'll need to learn from that mistake, and move on.

I don't know how the legalities work on this case, but AFAIK, the funds were not recovered yet  and if ever it will be recovered, it will be the government which jurisdiction this project would fall will liquidate or distribute the money to the investors, and there's a requirements that investors has to comply, and the most important requirement is to prove that you have really invested to this Plustoken scam.

Very confusing question if you send your coins to Plus Token then it's not part of your wallet anymore even if you own the private key you only coins that are in your wallet at the time you are looking at it.
The only way you can retrieve it if the authorities prosecute these people behind the plus token scam and authorities granted back your token you invested in the scam project, or scammers refund your coins, these are the only way.

If your tokens has no value then you can't do anything with that and Plustoken is a scam project so everyone who invested their btc to buy this coins completely lost their capital. If you can't afford to lose the money then you shouldn't have to invest on new projects but now ita over hope you learned your lesson.

No, they are known to be one of the biggest scams in history. Even if you have your private key, you cannot simply withdraw it and get your money back. They are scammers, they already have taken your money and there is no way to bring it back. As you have said, Plustoken has shutdown, meaning there will be no one in here who can answer you on how to bring it back but the team itself.

There is so much proof here that Plus token project is indeed a scam.
Even if you have your private keys, haven't you said that they have shut down already? So, how can you access it?
I am sorry but it is impossible for now to get back your btc from them, they surely taken it away. They have moved huge amount of bitcoin last time that affected the btc market. And that includes your bitcoin so there is no chance that you can get it back now.

Hope that will be a lesson learned mate, choose wisely where to  invest and where to put some funds  in a legit project.

First you need to find out what happened to the plus token and also; did you invest your bitcoin into the project? If you sent btc in the hope of receiving plus token back then; then you do not have bitcoin  again; but plus token. Well knowing full that plus token is closed; its a 50?50 scenario for you

It is not even 50:50 , it is completely 100% on the scammers part. I am sorry to say but OP's greed to earn more has today let him to a state where not only he has lost his Bitcoin but also recieved tokens that have zero value. This situation should set an example for all newbies that there is no shortcut to earn money.

Once you send your bitcoin to any investment program out there such as Plustoken or another platform, you can not withdraw your money, plus you can not get any profit because your money is long gone before you realize. If you already have bitcoin, that will be the investment itself, and you don't need to use any other investment type, no matter what the name is. So there is nothing you can do right now except to accept what happens to you. Next time, don't use the other investment just to expect to make more bitcoin because that will be impossible.

The only thing you can do if ever you are heavily invested on that scam project is to sue them so that you can forced them to refund your investment. Gather all investors that you know and create against them. You just need more funds for lawyer and other legal stuff. It will be really worth it if you invested tons of money because it will really pay off. You can split expenses to all the people you gather for the sue. This is the best option you can choose or else just follow other user recommendation above to move on.

There is no way you can retrieve it using technical method on this scenario.

If Plustoken support didn't answer your messages and claims, that sounds hopeless to takes back your money even though you have all the credentials. To know that they have been shut down (unless it was only maintenance break) you can't count of them to give back what they've scam to all depositors. This is will happen to scam exchanges ( exit scam) which I worried about that is why I keep ignoring these exchanges and never give them a chance to take what I have.
Plustoken is a proven scam and one of major scams on cryptocurrency history. It's none of support issue or maintainence issue. Check the previous post or google with plustoken scam to check more.

The scammers have been starting to sell your money through the public market and you can check whether your btc is still in your address or not. I guess if your btc has already moved by plustoken and the only thing that can do by plustoken investor to report this to the SEC or something else that can trace them all,

No, you can't get it back anymore. Unless there will be a lawsuit that will allow them to resend back those stolen bitcoins, they will be forced from doing so.
But they are scammers and scammers won't do that.

Sorry to know that, but, Plustoken is a scam. A scammer will never give your money or BTC back.
You can read some articles that state about this very huge scamming, structured, and also like-legit project scam.:
https://cointelegraph.com/news/plustoken-scam-moves-123m-in-bitcoin-just-as-btc-price-regains-10k
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/how-the-plustoken-scam-absconded-with-over-1-percent-of-the-bitcoin-supply
https://cointelegraph.com/news/plustoken-scammer-implicated-in-chinas-second-ten-figure-crypto-ponzi

You are not the only one victim, they scam a very huge amount of BTC, in 2019, the total scammed was around 200,000 BTC, what's about now? i think it is more.

So, if you are a victim of Plustoken, You must be brave and give up all of that. And of course, make this experience a very valuable lesson to be more careful when you want to invest. In whatever cases, not only in BTC investment

I believe they have already moved their customers' funds and when nothing would be left in their wallets, what can you do even if you have your private keys of the address through which you deposited in it (if you ever have the real private key as I doubt that when they were destined to scam everyone, why would they even allow you to see/copy your private key)!

The best you can do is to keep an eye and watch out for the project admins if they ever reveal anything about the BTC and ever decide to give back the BTC to their customers (but I highly doubt that it will happen).

Even if you have the private keys the PlusToken is already a scam project and I’m sure you can’t access your wallet anymore so don’t expect to retrieve your bitcoin, and start moving on.

If you invested into something you must keep yourself updated about the project so you will be aware the situation of your money, since PlusToken fails or a literally scam, you should know from day 1 that your bitcoin is totally gone now.

There's no talking of 50/50 scenario here because the btc that he sent has already been in the hands of those plus token devs. You can't withdraw your btc anymore.

Im bit lost on what you have said here which you do mention about pk of your wallet but since you do say that you had invested in plustoken then i presume out

that you sent out those funds into their ICO sale main wallet. Right? this is just been always the case and now you do ask about retrieval?  No, those coins are gone now

and lots of investors like you had already burned out their investment.Im aware with this PLutoken existence.

He will have the equivalent amount of plus token on his account, not the btc that he sent. Just like any other ICO. So yes, he can't retrieve his original btc from this project. There's no way that the plus token team will allow such withdrawal in btc form because that's the reason why they screwed the investors. Such a huge scam.  Roll Eyes
