There are few malwares that can capture screens but don't know whether they can detect recovery phrase or not, but make sure that you are not saving those recovery phrase in your computer locally or in cloud store platform. Best way to store bitcoin is either use hardware wallet or make paper wallet in completely offline mode.

It is safe to display it in a PC as long as you are 100% sure that the PC where you are displaying it is free from malware/keyloggers. If you are not sure then it is best to write it down in a piece of paper, or to make a picture of it with your phone. Keep in mind that phones nowadays are prone to hacks and malwares, the Android ones at least so this is not really a recommended practice. So best is to write in a piece of paper and save that in your safe, a place where you keep your valuable stuff. I am not saying a real, expensive safe but we all have that place where we keep our most important valuable stuff.

I have a blockchain.info wallet that uses 12 word recovery seed as a safefail mechanism.

The question that I have:
1. Is it safe to display the 12 word seed and write it down ona piece of paper or should I be worried that merely displaying the information can result in some malware stealing it?
Or possible staying saved somewhere in browsers history?
Is the same as any other sensitive info you need to keep it safe, like your password or private key.

If you can't be sure that your computer doesn't have a malware installed, login with a safe device and print or write down your recovery seed.

Safe device would be considered a computer with no hard drive booted from a Ubuntu Live CD? Right or wrong?

Don't save it anywhere on your PC but rather write it down on a paper or other physical document. It is not saved on your machine automatically but blockchain.info can be hacked if your PC already has a malware. It's recommended to use 2FA to always keep your wallet secure. This seed cannot be found in your browser's history.
