Just curious can anyone on this thread speak English?
Everyone speaks English here, some are fluent, some are average.
How can the investment comments be of any value when everyone commenting seems to be clueless-smh
Clueless? If it's about cloud mining, everyone's comment here will tell you that you should stay away from this type of investment.

I like Hashflare in general but they have two problems at the moment: Their prices and the current Exchange Rate

They increased prices before christmas. It was $1,50 per 10 GH/s and is now $2,20 for BTC mining.
While this was still ok when the BTC was high it is more difficult now with the lower BTC. At the moment expect ROI within 4-5 months (was 2-3 before).
I addition their maintance fee is a fixed $-Amount but will be deducted in BTC (so the lower the BTC the higher the fee)

Same ist for ETH mining (also this is maintenance free). ROI was around 5 months, down to 3-4 months before the ETH followed the BTC down from his max. and is now closer to 6 months.

So if you expect that Cryptos will go up significantly again and you have no problem to hodl your mined coins some time than it might be still a good thing.
If you expect the Cryptos stay at the current level for a very long time (or even go down further) it might be not a worthwhile investment.

For me I currently re-invest mined BTC into more ETH mining power as I expect the ETH to have more potential to rise again. But this is just my opinion!

One more remark: The min. withdraw for BTC is quite high at over $500 (but should decrease again sometimes later). Ether min withdraw is around $95.

Most cloud mining sites are scams, but scam or not, cloud mining is almost always a losing investment.

Regarding hashflare.io: even if it looks legitimate, it is still a money-loser.

For each 10 GH/s Bitcoin contract you buy, you will pay $1.20 plus $1.44 per year in maintenance fees. After one year 10 GH/s might mine 0.002 BTC, currently worth about $2.00. You might break even after two years, but it is more likely that you will never break even.
Yeah. It may be safe to join the site, especially if you have anti virus and use it from your home wi-fi, but cloud mining surly will not bring you that profit you are expecting for, the same way you may join to a faucet. Good luck!

This cloud mining has been here for years, so the answer is yes it is safe. But there is no guarantee what will happen in the future of course, whether their business growing or go bankrupt. I recommend to not risk your bitcoin, it's better to hold it or sell at the peak and buy back after it fall instead of waiting for a really long time to get profits from cloud mining.

Is it safe?
most probably.
is it profitable to invest in it?
probably not.

Don't invest in cloud mining of bitcoin, cloud mining of alt-coins could be somewhat profitable but btc, no.
I would consider profitability on altcoin contracts except on btc indeed but talking about safety then theres no assurance on these cloud mining businesses. Profitability would really be the main issue and also instances that those cloud mining sites would become scam sooner or later that's why its not really worth to put up money on these kind of investments. If you insist then do it for your own risk.

I have used Hashflare for more than 1.5 months and so far the payouts are following my initial forecast. ROI on one year is 400%, could lower to 300% according to the difficulty of hashrate.
But this cloud mining is legit, no doubt about it. I already got back 50% of my initial investment in 1.5 month. I will be breakeven in another 1.5 month.
I have a written a blog with some advice, screenshot and explanation, check https://hashflare-review.com

Hashflare seems to be one of the three or for serious cloud mining services that exist, but the ROI is far away. So you should be very patient to make profit on longterm. I wanted to fasten the mining power but went although down because of mining difficulty and the fees got up.

Whether you join or not its up to you but I would suggest to keep away from this kind of sites. I think the 80% of mining sites are scammers, they keep filling their pocket by our money by this kind of cheating. At the starting they provide good outbacks but sooner or later they start scaming. After getting cheated I stopped to do invest in any kind of mining sites. Hope you will take the correct decision.

You seemed to be worrying and afraid of losing your money from cloud mining investment and you have doubt that your money will be secured in hashnest, so I'll suggest to you to postpone your plan of investing with them and do not ever try to deal with any cloud mining services if you are afraid of the risks . Cloud mining services are not safe, we are not sure  if they'll be running until you got your ROI .

Hashflare and Genesis mining are probably one of the two safest cloud-mining companies to go aboard with and join but in all honesty why would you do it? Even if people are trusted it doesn't eliminate the risk that one day someone with bad intentions in either company could go ahead and hit an exit scam.

Makes sense to stay away from these cloud-mining companies as I feel that they're scams and try another investment. It's not like you'll end up making profit with these companies anyway.

hashflare.io is pretty safe.
But if you look here, you'll notice that right now the best contract have payback period of 813 days. So it's more than two years just to break even. Most of the contracts (all timed ones) never pay back. For example 1-year ethereum mining at hashflare.io will give you net loss of around 30%.

That's kind of a contradiction. You say they are safe, yet you will lose money. I guess you could consider them to be safe because of the transparency -- they let you know ahead of time that you will lose money.

It is odd that people still invest in cloud mining knowing that they will either lose some of their money or all of their money.

Obviously it is not safe to invest in. Just cloud mining type was not really safe to invest. They will just eat your investment once you input your money to their sites. Which in return we will cry home as a loser.

There's a certain economical model. It would be profitable to mine if prices rise, but in this case more people will start mining, which will affect difficulty and make mining less profitable again.

Using hashflare.io is safe. It pays but does not pay well. I don't know maybe because mining does not really pay much.
Last year I tested giving it 0.01 btc. I did not get ROI because I got sick of waiting (about 5 months already) so I pulled out my remaining coins.

EDIT: Please take note that this happened a year ago. I don't know how things are going in hashflare.io right now.

I have tried many cloud mining sites previously till now i din't make profits them, really it is waste of our money in investing cloud mining. I have been in it over a year now till now i din't any profits from it. It is better and wise decision to learn about trading so that you will make more profit on your investment, in both aspects risk is involved but if you dare every thing will be in your control while you are doing trading. Don't invest in cloud mining you will loose your money.

if cloud mining was profitable you wouldn't be able to buy it because the company would just keep there mining power for them selves.

cloud mining is only profitable to the company that is selling it and not the user that buys it.

It's just like the company is getting money from its investor in a nice way by promising not to too good to be true interest rates.

Any type of cloud mining will always end up to collapse, why there are people who still doesn't want to learn from past experiences?

Maybe they are just new and doesn't know what a cloud mining is.

because they are still new then it is our job as a friend to explained to  them what is the risk of cloud mining, cloud mining is a scam site, it promises a return of profit in a period time, but to be honest the site seldom has a mining tools, it just pretend that it has and after the owner collect enough money then it will run away with your money, be smart when you want to invest there are a lot of victim from cloud mining

They are lucky enough if they are being warned by those matured bitcoiner but with my experience someone didn't warned and educate me about this.

And I don't want that to happen to other people as well especially those newbie in bitcoin sector.

I don't want them to be disappointed whenever they will be invited to invest with this scamming investments.

... I have been using them for a few months, and all is fine, can take out whenever I want, support is good, and ROI is around 6 months for SHA-256. So roughly speaking you double your money in a year.

I don't know how you can say that ROI is 6 months, unless you forgot about the maintenance cost and difficulty increases.

10 GH/s costs about 0.00145 BTC and 6 months of maintenance fee is about 0.001 for a total cost after 6 months of about 0.0025 BTC. Even disregarding difficulty increases, 10 GH/s will mine only about 0.0015 BTC after 6 months. Realistically, you will probably never break even at hashflare.io at the current rates.

Hi, don't use the above web address, I have no idea where it goes, but its not Hashflare. I think the responses on this forum have been rather   negative regarding cloud mining, possibly because they have not been very discerning in their choice of site. There ARE scams out there, but  Hashflare isn't one of them. I have been using them for a few months, and all is fine, can take out whenever I want, support is good, and ROI is around 6 months for SHA-256. So roughly speaking you double your money in a year. The only annoying thing about the service it that if you change your bit wallet details you have to wait 10 days before you can withdraw.   If you want to give it a try use my referral link please, if you don't mind : https://hashflare.io/r/8344CDB1

It is not good to join and invest in cloud mining because they will pay some percentage on every day according to your investment like 2% , 3%. But actually they don't have farms setup at he back ground and how they are paying that much percentages in daily basis. I hope simply i can say is there are also same like hype site it's better stay away with those sites.

Similar cloud minings before also shows that similar not secure prompt and right after a week or two that ponzi cloud mining eventually locked accounts and or stopped paying their investors. It was not long that the site can no longer be accessible. It's best if you'll just stay away from any cloudmining.

Better not to put your bitcoins into risk with those cloud mining sites because they are total a bunch of scams and will just suck their investors money.

And if you don't know what happened to one of those so called 'trusted' cloud mining by its investors which is hashocean.

Most of this sites have a good refferal program. And only with this you will make money fast. In the long run you will lose your money. This is how this sites work. Was investing in such a site last year. In the first few weeks all was fine I reinvested my profit and a few days later the site was closed and i lose my money. After this day I never invest in one of this sites and I never can recommend to invest only a cent in this sites. Stay away of this shit and search for a better way to make profit with Bitcoins.

I've been with em for about a year now and nothing too serious has happened, so far they're like eobot where they haven't shown any signs of taking our money and running yet but this could happen at any time. Their support is up and running and they're actively answering questions so there is at least a little bit of dedication to the site as of now. Of course this could change at any point in time; if you value your money, do not invest too much into cloud mining schemes.

If they don't have enough money to buy a SECURE certificate like our forum has then they are at least not serious to not say anything else. They are saving a mere 60 USD as that is the cost of such certificate from the most trusted vendors. Even if they are legit , cloud mining is losing money.

Remember the golden rule of such sites: If they have enough power and resources to mine for themselves why should they share it with other people, that makes no sense for me. The only legit cloud mining site is hashnest but even there in the long run people lose money or get less than their initial investment.

All cloud mining sites are not recommended including Hashflare.io

If you don't feel that hashflare is safe well don't go for it since mining as i've knew is not profitable at this current rate, blocks are very difficult to mine, and surely it has a great effect in cloudmining and totally they are running as ponzi right now, and try to listen for other thougs, its very helpfull for you and just make it as basis that cloudmining is totally not safe at this time, be vigilant all the time and dont be hook up for false promised.

Obviously, these sites are not safe as it looks legit first, but it will become a scam in the end, and you will lose your money there.
All cloud mining sites are always good in the beginning but will betray you in the end, and you can't get much profit there because it took how many months before you earn. I just advise that much better if you stay away from this kind of sites.

I totally agree with you. Was testing some mining sites a few months ago and lost my money because it was a scam site. The site was online since 2 years and looks legitimate but finally it was a scam site. Maybe some earned a profit because they invested at the start of the program but most people lost their money. So I can't recommend to invest in this types of sites.
