It seems to me that hacking email is much easier than hacking into a bitcoin wallet, even created by a third-party company. Why make transfers by e-mail, if bitcoin itself is created for carrying out transactions?

Why would anyone send cryptocurrencies through email if you can already send them directly through, and within the security of the network? Cool

The wallet address is connected directly to the user’s email address. According to Quixxi Connect, this allows making crypto payments through methods that people are already familiar with.

What I understood by reading the article is that this new Wallet would work in a similar way to Paypal. And you could request payments by offering only your email.

Certainly, something like that would be very practical. But absurdly insecure and would end up with any privacy you may have. What they want is to attract ordinary people to something more practical. But email is one of the most easily hackable internet tools. I doubt that this company will be successful in this proposal.

I'm sure sending bitcoin by email is insecure. A secure platform can also be hacked and you will lose everything. I recommend that you choose a more secure way to work with Bitcoin.

Read the article through this link, do you think it is safe? What is the reason?

The way I understand how it works, it just a standard of protection that we have already seen in the current scenario we have. Before you can do any transaction, you need to verify it through email (sort of 2FA) so there's nothing new in this system.

I think they just put some spin on it, but its just another 2FA system put in place. And besides, we all know the dangers of sending crypto via email, so this is one of the worst idea that I have heard so far.

Cryptocurrency wallets are not an overly complicated system to require simplicity. And syncing wallets to email addresses or phone number would deprive most of knowledge on areas of cryptocurrencies.
And despite reassurance the issue of security and anonymity would be a hindrance.

Hmm. Completely worst consideration. It will have no anonymity anymore. And right now many third party services offering same platform to their users.

Anyhow we see it, its the security that we always want.  Emails had been hacked which reports are overwhelming. Its not good.
There were projects like sending crypto through email they did an ICO as far as I know, I don't remember it being successful. We'd rather be using wallets to wallets, its much safer.

What purpose would it serve. I don't see any reason for this to be implemented. We already have our private wallets between wich we can migrate the coins quite efficiently and safe.

There's just too many attack vectors present on emails that makes it hard to use as a medium for sending cryptocurrencies. Also, wallets are already doing a great job in handling crypto-transactions so the need for a third-party service to handle such is not necessary. 'Perfect security' is what most services advertise themselves to gain attention, though in reality they aren't needed at all since everything works well on crypto without them.

The tech can be used as an excellent layer for encrypted emails, but for sending crypto? I don't think so.
