I would like to know if it is safe to put my wallet address in websites asking for it.
I am really excited to start my own Bitcoin journey.

It depends on what you mean by the word "safe".
If you are afraidthat your money will disappear from your wallet just because you put your address somewhere, don't worry. Your funds will be safe and no one will be able to stole your money as long as they don't have private keys/seeds.

Instead if you worry aobut your privacy, yes, it may be in danger. If you share your address and maybe another relavnt info about yourself (for example your email address or social media account) they can link your address to your identity and then check all your transactions.

Yes you can share your BTC address to any site in fact majority of members of this forum often display their bitcoin address on their profile, hackers cannot gain access to your account using your address BUT never reveal your private key to any site because it is the vital tool in accessing your account remotely by hackers.

Yes, it is totally safe, because no one can do anything if he got your wallet. He can just send you money.

You cannot do anything with someones BTC Address other than view their send/receive history and the amount of money within those send/receives. Like others have stated, just don't give anyone your private key because then they could steal all your funds in that address.

Depends on which aspect you're talking about. The safety of your funds is in no way compromised by sharing only your wallet address. As mentioned above, my main BTC address is public (in my profile, for example) and I don't mind it being associated with me, as I can prove ownership of it. For that matter, I have several fixed addresses all associated rather publicly to my (online) identity... which brings us to the aspect of privacy.

Every little detail you give out makes your identity more and more vulnerable. If you don't like addresses being associated with you, or you don't want your coins tracked easily, then you habitualise things like never reusing an address, never sending it through unencrypted channels (like emails). Lots of big data bots mining every day for all sorts of things, enough to build an online profile of you, if not your conventional identity.

As long as you don't give away any private keys, yes.
Just be aware that they can then see all transactions going from and to this address.

It's best to generate a new address for every service you use and transaction you do.

But let me just ask you: why do the websites want it? Do you get payed something out?
I think that it also really repends if they are requesting it or just "asking" as OP mentions, bitcointalk forum doesn't request it also but it's quite good to have it posted or on your profile as you can sign it and prove that you own that account and also that address associated with that account.
