Americascardroom is the best poker site that offers bitcoin and crypto as a payment method , I have been with them for over 2 years now
so yeah you can trust them with their software and it's totally clean software , all my transactions with them were through online wallets and never had a problem when it comes to deposits or withdrawals

Well the only way a virus could steal money from you / your wallet, is going to be if you're not safe online and something infects your computer. This is also saying that you don't have a competent antivirus that was able to hit this virus before it infected your computer. So you can use your coins and your wallet whereever and with whatever you want, I'd just make sure that your computer is safe.

If you don't think it is, use a fresh computer / wipe the computer. Or use a mobile device to store your coins and send from, much harder to hack this sort of device.

thank you.  I use a hardware wallet for the majority of my holdings.  so my concern is really when I plug in my hardware wallet, is there some possible way that a virus software could transfer coins from my hardware wallet?  or is there not much to worry about there?
I don't think any virus/malware can transfer coins from hardware wallet without your permission, you have to press a physical button to confirm an outgoing transaction. Wink although some virus/malware can be tricky and replace bitcoin address in your clipboard, just verify the BTC address you're sending to on your device's screen. other than that, you don't really have to worry about anything.

I'm unaware of anyone having any issues with ACR or any of the WPN skins. From your side it's not any different than any other BTC transaction.

(Bovada has had some issues, though, so it's good to check.)

I'm mostly concerned about "what if it's some type of virus software that can steal your coins from your wallet that you have" or something like that.  maybe that's a conspiracy mindset, I don't know,  but I want to ensure my wallet, held elsewhere, it protected.

Has anyone used this website/platform for card playing?  Is it safe?

Americans cardroom has got to be one of the most trusted bitcoin poker rooms around. I have never had any issues there with security and have never felt like my bitcoin were in jepordy with them. Maybe try out the software for a month or so to see if you feel comfortable wiyh it.
