In economy, price of new things goes up first due to the speculation, then due to its utility.

In past few weeks, we have seen the speculation is slowing fading. If that is that case, I think we should potentially enter the next phase: value driven by utility.

I think it might be a good idea to start a new lending system on using digital asset "currency". May be B2B lending Platform?

Here are some Facts:

There are more than 700 billion USD worth of digital assets outstanding globally (Only Count the most liquid ones);

The price appreciation of digital assets will eventually disappear: In a short period of time, there is Matthew Effect on digital currencies. The earlier you enter, the more benefits you get. But such price appreciation won’t last forever. Over time, as the algorithms and regulatory get developed, the digital currency prices will finally stabilize;

New digital assets investment channels are needed: Most digital currencies have their intrinsic value, as cash or gold does, but not as much have the corresponding financial derivative with themselves as the underlying assets, thus the market cannot build a closed financial system through investment. When the digital currency price becomes stable, investors will need to find new ways to earn their investment return;

Digital assets are suitable for investment: Programmable digital assets, combined with the anti-fraud property of blockchain in payment, are to some extent more suitable for investment than fiat;

(BTW crypto-swap is a joke, it is not credit based lending, does not create significant impact. )

My background is in supply chain and CS. I have seen many trials of supply-chain finance(SCF) blockchain applications like Chained-finance, Mahindra common platform and Fluent Trade Asset Marketplace, etc.

Be honest, any core enterprise driven SCF blockchain applications will fail, because core enterprises are too centralized and financial tool allow them to control or take advantage of those SME (Small business), they will not give away their power easily.

I want to try SCF on shipments and logistics, those are off-shore and less regulated territories.

But I am open to any other lending system use cases, PM, if you want to chat.
