Thanks a lot for all your input. I am newbie in LTC and have been buying all the way from 2.75 up until 4, but the recent dip made me skeptical. I am not a trader by nature, and have lost before by trying to trade. So, for now, I will go with the consensus here and will hold what I have and buy some as well.

Surely BTC is the reference currency? You'd have transfer your LTC<->BTC before BTC<->PumpedCoin, and pay again for fees, slippage, and the price change because others are doing the same.

It was a shit useless fork that was never meant to innovate or bring anything creative/original or simply said "anything new" onto the table and was destined to be DOOMED.
LTC and all the other BitCoin based block-chain forks, are a pure and utter nonsense, nobody sane would ever invest in them really.
Go figure...
EDIT: if GOX does indeed open its gates to LTC, it would seem they don't give a fuck about anything other than EXTRACTING profit from the existing infrastructure -> guess why, cuz its shit easy to implement into their existing engine BECAUSE its 99.9% identical to the BTC system (which is why LTC is worthless and useless fucking copy-chain joke).
