its never too late. This question is asked many times, also when bitcoin was around 160. look at it now Wink

Every day bitcoin investment is best option for the people come into the crypto world. I was get into the bitcointalk forum two years before that time bitcoin price is around the 400 US dollars only and ethereum also not been introduced bro.
I really worry that I did not saved the big money with the bitcoin I earned or bought with the traders.
Go with the people and invest on ethereum or bitcoin now you will find double the value in the chart 2020.

It is never to late to join the crypto world.
If you think it is and no one should join than crypto world will die.
Think logically  Wink

That is right. The Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash or Litecoin are good to join.

Its never late to join crypto rally, all you need is to wait for some time and see if the market is down currently or not , once you are convinced that market is going to rise now onwards then make a bid and enjoy the rally.

No one knows.
2017 may be late looking at the price keeps crawling up. But it's not too late to join the crypto rally in long term.
New money are pour into the market from old money
And by looks these new money are just a fraction
There are more legs to move
indeed we do not know whether the bitcoin 2018 will crawl up the price or even back down drastically, but I think bitcoin will continue to exist and the price will surely rise, and also not too late to join  Smiley Wink
Late or early depends your thought and decided buying Bitcoin now.
Example after the price of Bitcoin reach to $10,000 while you did not bought it in past time, do you think late or early? Roll Eyes

It is never too late to join rally..2017 rally or some later..it doesn't matter. Even if you buy some BTC now for 4700 USD and even if it dumps in October or November  to 3000-3500 USD range because of November fork, don't worry..ther will be another rally, perhaps from December 2017-Februar 2018.. or some other time.. and you will earn a lot money at the end. Or it will be slowlier continuous development and rise of price. But the danger of year-long bear market like in 2013-2014 is much less in my opinion.. then, BItcoin was too abstract and "too alternative" ..now it is getting mainstream recognition and investment money.

The 2017 rally has really opened my eyes up to cryptocurrencies and the awesomeness it brings. I'm eagerly looking to get into the market, but with the huge price appreciations, I'm worried I'm to late and will get badly penalized if/when the market dips. What is your point of view, should I get in now or wait ?
Actually this kind of question is really hard to answer knowing that market prices are really unpredictable on which we would really hard to determined if the price is on its peak or on its new floor. This is why experience, knowledge, skills and little bit intuition would really be needed on this kind of battlefield. Its not really late to join in the rally thinking off that there are still lots of years to come on cryptoworld.

If you think about that Bitcoin can go to $10,000 per Bitcoin this year then it is not to late.

Indeed, the price of bitcoin and well known altcoins has been on the up trend since 2014, while the overall marketcap has shown positive outlook each year. The crypto adoption has been growing rapidly at the fast pace, therefore its never too late to get on board.

Man i think youre not too late to join the party in 2017. The things are going crazy this year, and we gonna see some alt blowing up to the moon. But at first you should learn the basics about crypto and watch some coin and how the do on events or something.

Imho the old altcoins are dying and a lot of new coins getting pumped. But i think the old bags getting pumped in the future, because so much money is going to flow into the cryptocurrecy markets!

You are too late for certain coins but others are still young and have potential. If you want to get those with potential right when they are born go for ICOs but make sure you research who is running them and what the project is actually doing cause so many newbies have gotten scammed by horrible ICOs.

That is right. But the Bitcoin Cash is still young and has some potential.
Potential in Bitcoin Cash? Can you explain me potential of an altcoin "free money" and receive from hold Bitcoin after HardFork? This coin is a clone of Bitcoin original and I do not see any good future of it.

I think your are not late I found some coin that still under value with a good development in their project better find one and invest and hold it. You can also make profit for trading a coin in short trade to increase the amount you hold  just buy low and sell high unti it become large amount.

Everyone keeps mentioning a "bubble" but I don't think they understand what a bubble is or how crypto currency works, and I am new. The only implied value of fiat currency is through equity. Crypto has no equity, or nothing significant comparatively to value. It's only a bubble if there is a run - in billions of USD. That's not going to happen besides through government intervention.

What I do now is invest top 101-200 coinmarketcap alts that aren't been pumped last month, so in that way there is less risk of "deflation" (or dump) and there is still the chance that it will be pumped too.

So my spot now is: BSD

Other one in the 101-200 range that is not at is ATH  is ZCL that is worth a try.

thanks for the tip.

Not too late, no.
Bubble? Yes, but just the beginning.

You can have a good time until end of 2018, beginning 2019, but that's just my estimation of when the potential bubble will burst extremely.

Most people talking about a bubble or the general doomsday sayers are veteran traders who don't realize that the time has changed. BTC and also Altcoins aren't geek-exclusive anymore. More people joined and are still joining. Soon Wallstreet boys will re-enter and after that the mainstream. Until the mainstream enters, we are going to have a wild ride.

Rule of thumb:
If your family asks you to buy a bitcoin for them and they are not tech-savy and not from Japan: gtfo!

I don't think its too late so long as you are disciplined about allocating capital, ideally you buy your target coins during selloffs. For long term holds I would consider BTC and LTC. Bitcoin is a must since many currencies trade versus bitcoin on most exchanges.

Some of the junior currencies where I don't believe they have reached their full valuation are ArtByte, ByteCent, Counterparty, LBRY Credit and Viacoin. This is a decent list to start research on whether you like the price, business model, developer roadmap, etc.

Occasionally one of the crypto whales on this forum makes a detailed post describing why they like a certain coin. I have found the advice very helpful when deciding on the position sizing for a new investment.

Nope, not at all, imagine at $250 we still had doubts,  and people thought it was too late. Even when the price adjusted downwards last weekend, folks doubted, and speculated it was the beginning of the end.I stick my head out and predict that btc will hit $5000 before years end, and ethereum $400. It will be best to spread the risk across different alts.

Your doubt is reasonable. However, I think the price of Bitcoin will still rally up again. But don't buy when it does. All you have to do is to wait for correction or dip that's likely to happen and then you can trigger your purchase.

If you asked me, I would say Bitcoin is over rated. People should give the altcoins a chance to come up in value by de-emphasizing Bitcoin for a while. After all, Bitcoin transactions this day are frustrating with high fees and backlogs.

Some good potential altcoins were pumped up already. But still, many cheap but have good potential altcoins are just waiting for a pump. CRBIT(Creditbit), XRP(ripple), Digibyte(RGB), STR(stellar) and XEM(Namecoin). Those are my prospect altcoin this year. They have a good potential altcoin. It's not too late for you to jump in.

Not at all mate! Buy when the altcoin market against BTC is down (such as right now) and diversify into the cheaper currencies with high trade volumes on Poloniex. Simple strategy but honestly its how I turned $1000 into nearly $10000 USD in 2 months.

My advice stay in fiat wait for a pullback like we had a week ago. Until then spend your time researching good projects.  Everything has been pumped to hell and are at all time highs including bitcoin. Long term crypto's future is very bright but not at these price levels.

that is a valid thing to worry about and you would be a fool to think these altcoins that are getting pumped are not in a big bubble that is about to burst.

but it is not too late to start trading them.
you can still find coins that have not been pumped to death and invest in them Smiley but for short time.

also you can always catch the pumped coins on their bottom to enjoy some of the bounce backs but this strategy is much riskier than investing in a rising market and needs a perfect timing to get in at the bottom and get out fast enough.

It is never too late. Nobody knows if we are currently in a bubble or not. Nobody can sell at the highest peak or buy at the lowest price.

My recommendation is before you invest (in anything, not only in cryptocurrencies): Read, read, read. Sleep, sleep, sleep. Think about what you have read. Read again, understand what you have read and invest then. And do not listen too much at other recommendation. Be always convinced in your investment. Otherwise go to the casino.

I agree, there is still a lot of room to grow for a lot of coins. It is important however to look into underlying project idea, dev. team, community, etc. There is still a huge amount growing potential, as blockchain is nowhere up to its potential in terms of practical implementation. For long-term investment it's still an absolute yes.

It is too late to join in, blindly. There is barely a coin that hasn't been pumped to the heavens on the exchanges and the volatility of BTC against alts makes bag-holding those alts risky investments. However, join studiously is very much open. You'll have to read a lot, analyze everything, double-check on dev team and community, weigh opinions, study trends and charts before staking a single sat to any alt.

I believe it's not too late. Moreover I think this is just the begininning. Yes, some already made tens of thousands or millions but this shouldn't stop you to invest.
Rule of thumb, there will always be richer people than you, accept it.
I don't think there will be a correction soon. I don't believe in one of the most rising coin right now, but this is becoming too big to ignore.
I will not give you any advice though without being biased, so do your reseach and start small.
A couple of tokens may not give you awesome ROI now, but think ahead, what would 100$ invested in a couple of tokens mean in 2 year time maybe?

Dive in my friend and spend what you can afford. Sky is the limit!  Grin

Well depends on what your goals are if you are happy to double your money at minimal risk then even bitcoin or ethereum is a good option. If you are happy for a bit more risk then its still possible to get really good gains, the thing most coins that have already been pumped are missing is a link to the real world. Real world services is the next step in the evolution of blockchain based coins and tokens, these are still young and full of opportunities.

I suggest not getting into the market now because honestly this thing might implode on itself any time. The best forex forecaster probably can't even tell you the general direction bitcoin is heading at because it is simply so damn volatile.

It's up to you, the bubble might not burst right now and continue to climb.

I thought that the bubble was over when the correction to $2000 came and so did many others but it's still going strong.

You're likely almost too late.... There are some that will double or more yet... VIA, XBT, PASC, and BAY for sure.  The total market cap should hit 120-150 billion before the pop.
Not for pascal. They wil never touch the new ath again in the future. rather than pascal and RLC or golem should be better than pascal coin by determining from the coin's demand and the total market cpaitalization.

The price of all the alt coins has broken new barriers and it looks like it is not a safe heaven to invest your hard earned money, either you have to scout for new promising ICO or you should study the market and enter the coin on a day trading basis to get some profit, other than that the risks involved are really high.

Same here, man
My advice is do some basic research first, before dive in  Wink
Don't believe the hype - before buying any token, try to dig into the company's profile and learn as much as you can
Good luck!
