I have seen that the scammer has not been active for a couple of days, as expected, and I was going to pass on creating the flag, at least for the moment, and that in the event that I saw him active again I would create it.

Yes, for an experienced and old member like you and me the tags may seem enough. But to a newbie or guest user, the active flag will display a banner on top of every post started by the scammer warning the users to proceed with caution when going to deal with them

Edit:

I have created a flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3258

But since you created it, I'm obviously going to support it.

I don't think there's anything else to say in this case, so I'm going to lock it.

He already has two tags from you and C-T. IMO, it's enough to send the message across to anyone who sees his post and goes through those tags. Secondly, with those tags on him, it's not going to be very comfortable for him to shill those his scam get rich quick fucking schem.

According to this:

 - Use type-1 flags when the message which will be shown to newbies/guests is appropriate: "the creator of this topic displays some red flags which make them high-risk. [...] you should proceed with extreme caution."
A type-1 flag is well deserved.
You believe whoever created the above mentioned topic is a scammer or is likely to scam.
The only problem when it comes to flags is that you will need for other dt members to support it so it becomes active. Just create the flag and see how dt members will interact with it!

This method of earning allows you to earn $1000 a day or more

It is a clear case of a scam attempt for which there is no need to give many explanations, but I was thinking if it would be worth creating a flag so that newbies and unregistered forum visitors could see it clearly.

I think it's most likely that after my tag and the responses he got to his thread, he won't be very active here again, but I hesitate to create the flag just in case.

Just pursue creating a flag for him so he will be aware that all our eyes are on him. He can't just fool the newbies and fall on his trap, fool on himself but never do it to others most especially to those who are still new to their investments and have no ideas if he is telling the truth or not. Otherwise, if we let him keep doing that, he might think that the forum members are very easy to deceive, and we don't want that to happen.

Obviously he won't be active here again because he is now caught on his modus operandi.

Nop! They won't. Scam is not moderated here, you could probably start a new thread offering to scam people straight away and the mods won't delete it.
Scam is not moderated, and newbies should know that, but there have been many of these obviously known scam that has been reported and deleted. There were some that I reported and got deleted by moderators.

be constructive or S.T.F.U
That will make moderator to easily delete it.

OP, you can do whatever you think will make other people safe from that scammer, because he thinks he can come to this forum with his scamming project to scam people so if you flag him, he will know that this place is not such a place for him . Each time I see his thread on the service board, I keep wondering why the mods haven't deleted it. Even though the account has no reputation, he still  deserves to face the consequences of his actions.

For me flagging a newbie without any reputation is too much work.
Agreed, which is why I stopped tagging account sellers using brand new accounts long ago; it's just a waste of time.  And the flag system....I never really understood why the trust system, which was already convoluted, had to be further complicated by adding the flagging in.

I say do whatever you feel comfortable with, Poker Player.  Nobody's going to give you shit about whatever it is you decide, so nail that sucker to the wall with any tool you can find.

But sometimes, it is better to report such a thread for it to be deleted. Posting something like 'scam' and nothing useful than that. That will make moderator to easily delete it.

I have also given the scammer a negative trust. Obviously this is a scam.

I would say yes, more warning means less people fall for such scam (even though it's one of obvious scam attempt). Don't forget show this forum show yellow or red warning (based on flag type) for people who visit this forum without login.
This is right, a flag will let people easily notice that it is a scam. But I am always wondering how some people can believe in such way to earn money.

Earn $1000 daily or more? Obviously it is a scam.

It's a flaggable case though you would need to first create a scam accusation with reasons showing that person is likely a scammer. That can to be used as a reference and not necessarily the link from that thread as it can be moved to archival or deleted any time. Some newbies or guest users won't know about ninjastic.space archiving tool.

I would not lose sleep about that user; do what is best, and I will support it.

Feel strange being on the same page with you for the first time.  Wink

If you invest as little as $100, with a 40% daily return, reinvesting what you earn each day, at the end of just one month (30 days) you would have $2,420,143.24. You tell me what the fuck the OP is doing here promoting his "system" instead of being on his way to his private island with his yacht full of models and bottles of champagne.

Worth or not depends on each user, but the answer is you can flag him and no one will blame you for doing that since it's clear he's a scammer.

Are there any consequences to creating flags? I think we should create one
If you wrongly flagging someone you might dragged into drama because flag can't be deleted, you can only oppose it.

I’ve seen this thread before and I replied to it he is just full of bogus especially for a new account. If he was genuine he would let some of the more ranked up members of the community receive a free vouch copy of this guide
