The only thing i can ever do is try and convince people that doing the right thing will pay off.
They need to exercise discipline and have some faith and be PATIENT.
Far too many noobs show up here and want profit.. ASAP !
Then when no one is looking they are free to act in an irresponsible way.

So i try and hammer that point home..
The big money is going down a legit path.

And the consequences of the wrong path are dire.
If we all continue to piss all over crypto and it's ideals then we will suffer for it.
And if you are involved in some way it will be very hard to escape the consequences.

I say what i do not because i am a preacher and worried about right & wrong.
But instead i am concerned with making a realistic and logical and constructive / beneficial decision (for all)
I say what i do because i believe sincerely that is what is good for all of us !

And it's all of us who ALLOW this to get sleazy and shallow and simply stupid.
It boils down to the people who simply keep their dead down and ignore what happens.
Or using an exchanges even though you KNOW they have fucked people over.
Crypto needs to get a spine.

Right now i just looked and sold my $23 worth of LTC on Bittrex.
I now have $41 in BTC.
I bought high and just left them there until it was time..
Most of the other LTC price rises i missed too because i don't watch the prices much.. or trade.
I got the LTC from faucet ref commissions while back and didn't care what i did with the BTC.
I've actually kept giving it away then i get more..
Point being is i am not worried about it.. and that i am more than willing to be patient.
Chances are i will buy more again when it's low too.
It is possible to make money from legit coins people.

I have preached for years that the more the perception to the world is crypto is legit
the more it will end up putting money in your pockets.

The greedy idiots don't get they are selling out for peanuts.. chump change.

I want to add that i doubt Satoshi would have gotten MILLIONS in an ICO for BTC before it launched.
These days the scene just accepts this as standard practice.
BlockNET for example.. raised a hair under 1 million in Bitcoin.
When i asked the dev why so much.. he said to ensure it's a success.
Then ALL OF YOU lined up to defend it and and profit off it.

Then skulked away quietly dumping on each other.. long after the cries of FUD and Troll and "Smear Campaign" went silent.

Right on to the next coin..

I think the core issue here is supporters vs profiteers.
Profiteers need the boot.
They are not providing anything useful to the crypto scene.
On the contrary they are a cancer to it.

And the self-entitlement is obscene and perverse now.
You all think you deserve check for a million dollars.. for what ? ICO tokens on Polo ?  Roll Eyes

I polled the users here and the majority claimed they did NOT believe in Ethereum.
So how does 75% of the users say NO and it still be the no. 2 coin ?
It means you talk shit saying one thing then do another later when no one is looking fer teh ROI'z.

Thank You Im new to crypto only 2 years but Im glad to see this is not some figment of my imagination but a real issue that could seriously damage the true spirit of Crypto --Freedom from opression-
I love the idea of decentralized but some form of Legit/Ethical moderation or oversight is seriously needed.
Sorry Im not 100% up to par with the new split if that is what its about then only the masses will dictate the True trusted fork.

I just really don't see the purpose for any of these altcoins besides bitcoins TBH. All of them are really just a fabricated value.
Bitcoin however actually has a readily market base of people using it.

Bitcoin = Deepweb, backpage, and it's becoming regular for internet payments for the "woke" to avoid using a centralized and controlled system like "paypal" ... a company that just can't wait to screw over their consumers.

Wtf am I going to do with a Dashcoin? Are there any stores accepting this coin?
Wtf am I going to do with a ZCash coin? No stores accepting it

A lot of these coins need to find a purpose. Atleast Monero is now being used on the deepweb, so it has a use....

Where can I even buy a dashcoin or a zcash?

True! The presence of worthless altcoins are actually damaging the reputation and Crypto and also dividing the investment which should have been flown to the good altcoins. Altcoins are required but not at the present scale. Nowadays we have more than 700 altcoins and 99% of them are worthless.

The crypto currency market is becoming like ponzi scheme where people are flooding the market with ICO offer and running away with the money leaving the coin unattended. This is indeed bad. We all have to discourage this attitude of introducing new cryptos without any long term plan.

Exactly one of the possibly fatal flaws of Crypto at the moment.

Fewer and fewer people believe in the power of the  US Dollar but its taken 60 years ( Since it hasnt been backed by gold)

I think the crypto investors are sharper than their folks and wont accept the wool being pulled over their eyes for 2 much longer

So some coins are only valid for a small time.
So a whole lot of noobs get caught holding coins of no value
Besides some exchanges Holding withdraw options on some coins

Crypto is a great idea but lets make an effort to keep it as clean as possible.

For I am only as rich as the man nexto me.

Becouse those alts are like crypto casino. You just place bet.
Sometimes is better to shot darts on ann thresd and chose good pump one coin.
The lower coin is the higher risk/reward ratio too.
Look ETH today pumped to oblivion Cheesy maybe will go to pair 1:1 with BTC til BTC will adds segwit,
miners holds it to extend when blocksize drama will be lifted then boom alts goes again to low value.
If ENYONE think that alt goes 10x-20x like Dash in few months just because they are good and will stay there
they are dumb.

I belive that soon that alt bubble will be over this is how life goes today alts are in max vs BTC so is best time to sell 90% of them.
When bear market goes there is NOTHING like "innovation" "adaptation" "PR" "marketing"  if BTC will turn into bear then you can forgot in high market cap crypto casino.

Having many altcoins is not a problem I think, but having so many altcoins is just so bad. Look at Cryptopia : there is at least half of the altcoins that could be totally forgotten and to never be talked about !

There are many cryptos with a good roadmap and a very nice long term plan. But in the end they just ended up dormant due to the lack of support from the cryptocurrency society. Some ended up due because they have no capital that big or stockholders to keep their coins running. The only coins who survived are those coins with good road maps and has a huge back-up capital for marketing, promotion to make people embrace their coin.

no they ended up dormant because they were a pie in the sky dream with incapable developers

No i dont accept your theory their i have seen some projects who have went wrong in ICO and due to financial problem they stopped the project but if any good support comes to them then surely we can see a good projects.

For a few projects. But most of the project that succeeded has huge capital. But capital is just one factor. Its a combination of dev and capital and support by crypto society. But if any of this is missing is thenI think it will just died a natural death. That's why it is very important to have the 3 before launching any new coin in the market because it will useless.

Several number of cryptocurrencies exist and gets out of use in a short time period. In that list bitcoin is the one that gained the trust of people and got majority of usage by the users. After bitcoin eth gained more user base and keeping the space clean is not possible as everything is open sourced.
