You can get around the 3 indicators limit by using indicator scripts that have multiple indicators built into the script.

If you know how to code Pine yourself, even better.

For example you could have Bollinger bands + RSI + MACD all on your chart at once and you're only technically using one indicator.

Well for me, yes it is. But if, you have to draw a lot of technical analysis and expert in doing this stuff making charts to have analysis in a day.
Perhaps the exclusive features of paid subscription in trading view will really help a lot by expert traders, but only them will perhaps benefit most on this service, not just a  new one. If there is a trial of this service, much better, just explore first before you will purchase the paid trading view feature. I am not an expert in using this tool but for sure it will be a great tool for the expert traders who regularly making technical analysis.

Depends on how well you are going to use it. If you think you are going to get value out of it, sure you can get it and use it for profiting bigger and better. However if you do not have any knowledge of how it is used, or you can't use pine, or you don't know indicators that well, or you do not have a ton of people you follow, basically if you do not have any valid reason to buy it, and just want to see how it is and hope that even buying will magically make you better, you won't be happy with the outcome.

Obviously it is something profitable if you know how to navigate and use your way around in tradingview, but that is only viable for people who know how to use it, and if you are newbie I would suggest just keep up with the free version until you get much better at it.

Anything is worth to me whenever I get a regular user experience form it then I don't think twice for it's premium version. That means, you can get a regular service from trading view and it will not be worth to buy it's premium version if you are a trader who trade one or two trade in a week. If you use lots of technical analysis by seeing chart then you may think about it and do trade in a regular basis. Otherwise don't need to buy for normal thing.

You can try 30 days trial so you can compare the advantage and disadvantage when you using it. For me, I haven't got a consistent profit form my daily trade, sometime I got profit and sometime I didn't get any profit in one weeks even more than that.

And also I never used a lot of tecnique/indicator when I trade, I just use trend line strategy, EMA, MA, FIB, harmonic pattern that I can still use trading view without paid version. But it is up to you and that is depend on your strategy, how many indicator that should be use when you are trading and how much profit that you get so as you can consider to use paid version or not.

Its been said that if you are a professional trader, you should buy the paid version of trading view as free version have some limitation the major one being  you cannot more than three indicators at the same time.
How the question is that is it worth upgrading to the paid version or using free version is sufficient for majority of the traders ?

if indeed this thing is intended for professional traders I think it is quite balanced with what it gets. but I have not clearly understood what a professional trader says to be labeled a pro in trading.
Personally, I am still lacking in that professional understanding.
is there some kind of limiting characteristic that determines a person to be a professional trader?

please give me input Smiley

i think he means if you are a trader who is counting on doing professional analysis and share it with people either on twitter , trading view  or even use that analysis to trade on exchanges in this case you should buy a pro version of trading view , you will have more trading indicators ( in the free version you are allowed to use only 3 tools ) but with the pro version you got  access to all tools which means more accurate analysis ..

i think yes if you are a pro trader you have to buy the pro version because you will get more better tools than the free version , but for me im using the free one and im doing great so far ..

If you put your effort and passion to trading, then it wouldn't hurt you more if you pay the subscription for trading view. I'm pretty sure we had black friday deal few weeks ago, you could grab it with 75% discount if I remember correctly. I would recommend to buy the upgrade once in sales tho.

Other than that, for me being a free member of tradingview is already enough with the feature they offer.

It depends on what kind of analysis you are doing while executing your trades, and its really worth for someone who uses lot of indicators and much more chart analysis but in general its not wise to use more indicators.

There certain limitation provided by free version so best to  avail the paid version if you want to see a full good indicators given by paid version as benefit to their paid users and it's really worth it to avail since you can see those indication and create your own analysis regarding on the movement of the market but we shouldn't rely only on it since we need our own research and risk management on trading's to avoid such avoidable losses and profit security.

It is depend on trader. It is depend on traders affordability. If the trader can afford the premium package of trading view he can buy package. I will suggest him to buy one time to check that how much profitable is it. If he get the best value in return then he can continue to the package otherwise he can skip from next month.

I am not a professional traders in crypto space or bitcoin industry, but even is like that I still gained here several times for a couple of years staying here in this business anyway. Because for me, you don't need to become an experts for you to earn crypto, I know for a fact that there are a lot of traders individual here earned a lot even they are not professional or the expert one.

You can find more new feature in professional trading view platform .I think the premium version can help you to make your ratio high but it is always better to do research yourself and trade on .However i wanna suggest to the community always to learn much than it will help you to gain more profit .

We're talking about professional trader here and that only means to me, they make a lot of money in trading so the fees is just a small amount of money for them and its worth the money for sure. I didn't even try to activate such services because I'm not pro, but if you see that you have a good future in trading then you must buy that program because ordinary trading set up is just for a basic traders and newbies, pro is a different level and story of course.

The free version should be enough to learn how to trade and become profitable. In my opinion an upgraded tier is only required if you want to further refine your edge and/or become more comfortable by watching  multiple charts/time-frames in one window.
You're right , 3 indicators is already good and actually what many Pro trader suggested quantity of indicators to use so that traders can minimize confusion when analysing signals. Using more indicators means more error since you can't be sure if your analysis on each indicator is accurate.

Tradingview Pro version are for those traders that looking for prospect stocks and coin to trade. It's easy to spot a best coin to invest if you have a lot of indicators at the same time.

As per my understanding if anyone is getting profit from trading then he can buy the paid version from his trading profits but if you are a beginner, then there is no need to buy it at start. You won't become a better trader only because of trading view.

It all depends on your knowledge and preferences.

Free or paid, if you don't know what you are dealing with, then it's useless.

For others, the free version is already enough alongside their own way of analyzing the trend. On the other hand, there are traders who want to dig deep about the technical aspects of their strategy so they want to know more.

The bottom line, the worth of using those is in your own hands.

It depends on someones preference but nothing really compared when you do have lots of indicators which you can use according to your likes but it doesnt necessarily
for you to make out some upgrade if you dont see it worth or much needed.

So in short speaking then if you do find out that it would be useful for you then go ahead and buy but if not and can able to look for some free
in the net yet i believe there are platforms which do have that free or lot of indicators for you to use then why pay if theres free?

Its up into your decision if you do look to be useful on your part.

If 3 indicators are just not enough I guess you can take out one and replace it with another to read the charts. 3 Indicators are enough actually to analyse where could the trend go.

There are actually just 3 indicators I use, RSI, fibo and MA nothing more but I'm not publishing anything there. What are the advantages of having a paid subscription on tradingview if anyone here had bought?

These days many exchanges give you the full version of trading view for free and you can use more than 3 indicators on those exchanges. Also you can make more than one free accounts on trading view and can get 3 signals on each. Only professional traders who trade in big volume should buy the paid version of trading view.

I'd say no, it's not worth it for most traders, currently on free plan you can use up to 3 indicators which is more than enough and using more indicators just over complicate TA anyway, you would only need paid plan if you want to have access to volume profile indicators and custom time frames which could be somewhat useful to some traders at times.

It also a bit depends on whether you are trading full-time or not and how much are you invested in trading over all.

But one thing is for sure, if you are already seeing almost no improvement in your trading results using the free plan it's very possible buying the full version wouldn't change anything for you.

It is worth to upgrade your Trading view account. I am not mentioning about more than 3 indicators on chart. It is a mess up on your chart but with Pro trading view account, you can have access to some indicators that you can not have access with a Free account. It is important, the indicator you use, not how many indicators or lines you include, draw and mess them up on the chart.

With Pro account, another advantage is an allowance to download data of the chart. It can be very useful for coders who can build up their scripts to trade with bots.

Be simple and I think a Free account can still enough if people are not greed and gamble. For professional traders and investors, they need a Pro account. It is not expensive if you buy it in Black Friday event each year. Less than 2 dollars every day to have a Pro account for 13 months, it is not expensive.

To tell the truth if you have the opportunity to acquire it, do it, because they have tools such as the Volume Profile, which, it is essential to have it, gives you the best option in terms of the trading timeframes you have with the volume, for me the volume is one of the best indicators for trading analysis.

May we think about a certain limitation compared to have a trading view but I'd never think that it gives a huge advantage. Because trading is not all about having this thing but it is all about how you work on your trades, simple chart, and market analysis, it big enough to make a good decision. If the proven that acquiring this tool could uplift our trading profit to 100%, that will something brought trader's attention and buy this but somehow it's not and I think this is not necessary especially when you are just a casual trader.

I do not agree that buying trading view is a good option, why ? Because it does not offer you a long term solution; have you considered how long you want to be buying trading views ? Also, what happens if you cannot interpret the trading view you have paid for ? In my own opinion it is not worth it; i will advice you find an experienced trader to teach you how to also draw out concluding part form a trade chart; as well as an interpretation. do the right thing and learn for yourself.

Everything depends on the needs in my opinion, because the upgraded version in Tradingview also has many facilities that can be used. When we want popularity, of course, upgrading is important, but if you just want analysis, I think free is enough.

The vast majority of indicators are based on price and volume inputs, so if you increase the number of indicators, you inevitably run into the risk of "confirmation bias", where multiple indicators using the same data will give you a false sense of security by confirming each other.

Unless you have a trading system that incorporates uncorrelated variables (like even temperature of the day, rainfall, orange harvest, etc. all of which have been used before for devising trading strategies), 2-3 indicators should be sufficient, which is available in the free version.

If you can use it for day trading and those unlocked features would be useful to you, that's worth it. But if you can see yourself not enjoying the perks of the paid version, should you stay to the free version.
Before purchasing, think of it if it's a worth it investment for you and would certainly give you more chance to be profitable through what you can think of using it.

Unless you create a lot of charts, draw a lot of lines and use a wide variety of features and different assets, it is not worth.

If you just make regular trades once or twice a week there is no need to buy that.
People who are professional traders need tools like that.

i have only used trading view for very basic stuff but i have to say that if you have to ask this question then the answer is no it is not worth it to buy the premium version of it.
in my opinion you'll have to first have quite a lot of experience with the platform and feel the need for the additional options the paid version offers before wanting to spend more money to get those.

I think that these instruments are very useful only for professional trader and not the vast majority of users. Interpretation isn't easy at all and can mislead a good decision.
There is also an expense (subscription) that could erase any small profit collected.
