I cant believe this coin is not discussed more around here. Fair launched, No premine, no Ico, and community driven. Isnt that wny this forum was created in the first place.

There isn't much discussion for truly-decentralized projects like Kaspa and ETC, because most people are interested in making a quick buck. All of the attention is on "meme" coins and NFTs. KAS is just another smart contract platform without any exciting tokens and/or services built on it. The day someone decides to launch a "meme" coin on the Kaspa blockchain, will be the day KAS will go all the way to the moon. It's that simple.

The crypto market is all about hype these days. If KAS fails to gain the attention of mainstream investors and traders alike, it will remain a lost and forgotten coin forever. At least, the project has a good vision behind it. As long as it stays decentralized and censorship-resistant, there should be nothing to worry about. Grin

I have been hearing about this coin within the forum and on social media for sometime now. In the initial days it was about mining it using a laptop but now it seems ASIC miners are doing the mining job. I think those who were into Ethereum mining have now shifted to kaspa. For long term gain it is a good crypto to invest and currently it is priced at a decent value.

Im not sure if this wasnt discussed or probably there are more dedicated thread about kaspa. Since you mentioned that it was a forum they are free to discuss whichever topics they wanna talk about. Maybe only few altcoin users that interested in Kaspa are in or they dont simply wanna discuss it. Anyway since you are here in this thread there might be some whose gonna response about you regarding it. Anyway what you wish to discuss about it?

I don't really understand Kaspa, but there are a lot of people talking about it, especially on social media, who equate Kaspa's performance to bitcoin with a one-year cycle, the community has hopes that it will be the same as bitcoin, but for me it is impossible because those who perform like bitcoin will not be second to none, in terms of the market narrative that is being built this time, geographically the market has an interest in assets that have real-world related utilities such as Defi or RWA for example.

Many also state, buy at least $10 $Kaspa for your future, I don't know for me, it feels ambiguous and not very convincing for a project like this.

I'm quite fond of truly-decentralized crypto projects. Being as close to Bitcoin as possible is the best way to ensure security/reliability/censorship-resistance in the long run. Kaspa has made the right decision by following Bitcoin's footsteps. Hopefully, it won't be driven by hype but rather actual development and innovation. At the time of this writing, KAS sits below ETC in market cap. Would you imagine Kaspa becoming one of the top 10 coins in the future? In crypto land, anything's possible.

What concerns me about Kaspa is the large supply of coins in circulation. That would limit its ability to reach higher prices in the long term. We can't predict the future, so lets hope for the best. Smiley

If it is for short term, think of it as something that many are worth it at this time because we are entering the bull season.

And with the miners going into Kaspa after ETHs changing of protocol and algorithm, it makes sense to see that it is moving up.

I think that its growth is not that too quick at all and it goes by the natural way since the last time when it has been seen by many folks who are looking to mine a new altcoin that goes by their needs.

Even though I don't know Kaspa very well and have seen its track record and development, in my opinion KAS or Kaspa has a higher return percentage in the future or long term.
And if Kaspa's development continues and develops according to its track plan and continues to develop then it will most likely be successful, but not in the short term. And I think Kaspa or KAS tokens will be accumulated by big players which can increase the price in the long term.

Being above Aptos (APT), Stellar (XLM) and Sui (SUI) on the MC side alone made me surprised to see the performance of Kaspa (KAS), it makes this coin one of the coins that gets the attention of the crypto public, of course this attention is not just hype but because there are many people who see the advantages of Kaspa (KAS).

Talking about the market and future potential, currently Kaspa (KAS) isn't yet listed on Binance, which has led to a lot of speculation that if in the future Kaspa (KAS) can be listed there, it will make the price of this coin increase drastically. And if miners realize this, of course the majority of them will switch to Kaspa (KAS).

Not sure about kaspa having a larger marketcap now but it could in future. It's a POW coin like early Ethereum and employs the GHOSTDAG protocol which makes it more quicker and scalable. They are already operating at one block per second. Just like Ethereum they are open source and community driven.
They are also aiming to develop a platform for smart contracts, enabling the development of decentralized applications. The team are focusing on the user friendly approach. They plan to get 100 blocks per second in the future. They can be a good competitor to Ethereum in near future.

Is it just me who is a bit unfamiliar with the name of the coin.
but I will give my opinion, I about this kaspa.
If you think this kaspa is good for now, maybe this is the best way for you to invest, but if for the long term I'm not sure, but if you are still curious you can try it for a short period of time.
Good luck......

For the first time in history (if I'm not mistaken), Kaspa surpassed Ethereum Classic in market cap. At least, that was the case a few days ago. I was surprised to see this for a coin that's fairly new to the market. Does this mean investors/traders prefer KAS the most? What if Kaspa attract miners from both ETHW and ETC chains? Will it become the most profitable ETH-based PoW chain to mine?

I am wondering whenever I should invest in this coin for the long-term, or just get into the craze for short-term profits. What's your opinion?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
