Hitbtc would have win this question of yours if not for their crazy withdrawal fee, i like their exchange better than kucoin but kucoin is better in terms of withdrawal fee and good service

Well, it's a good choice if you prefer on Hitbtc but for me kucoin is the best. Each of us have different point of view which will relying on our different experiences. As we all know this two trading site is very know in the crypto currency community in which they are some differences especially transaction fees as what is preferred by many as they want to save some of it.

I haven't used the HitBtc exchange for a long time after the exchange raised expensive fees, Kucoin is my favorite now because many altcoins grow there and are friendly when trading, Kucoin is now a widely used exchange because IEO there is quite successful too and volume quite active unlike other exchanges.

The reason I didn't use Hitbtc was because I often received email notifications about someone entering with an outside IP so I decided I wouldn't use it again.

Hi Everyone!

I hope you're having a great week. I just published our latest article on comparing KuCoin to HitBTC to discuss which exchange is the best for trading altcoins.

What exchange is the best for altcoin hunting?

What exchange would you consider the best exchange for trading altcoins? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Looking forward to chatting!

The fees of HitBTC are not that friendly. They are high. The trading fee is already reduced if I am not mistaken but the withdrawal fee remains the same which is high.

There are altcoins that are listed on HitBTC that are not on KuCoin in the same way that there are also altcoins that are listed on KuCoin that are not listed on HitBTC. They are equal on that footing. It is up to your which particular altcoin you wish to trade.

For a senior cryptocurrency investor, I have used both exchanges. Compared to HITBTC, which is a two-way payment method on the exchange, I prefer using KUCOIN for daily transactions.

Obviously i would go for kucoin instead of hitbtc. Hitbtc is known as ab exchange site which has high withdrawal fee compared other exchange sites. (Hitbtc currently set 0.0015 btc as fee while other exchange only required 0.001 btc)

small difference .  0.001btc is still huge to me if i were to ask but i think other exchanges have lower fees lower than 0.001 if im not mistaken but they only increase thier fees once crypto rise thier price  . both hitbtc and kuckoin are still a good exchange but like you i think ill choose kuckoin more than hitbtc not only because it has a lower fee but because i love some feature on this exchange inclluding thier sites design  , the supported coins and also thier costumer support that reply's fast  .

Hitbtc is not been managed by pro teams, they are very slow and not attending to users problem in a swipe, apart from this they have high withdrawal fee which pissed me off from using the exchange, i will choose kucoin over hitbtc any day

I have been using hitbtc to trade my tokens before but due to some problems about their support and withdrawal plus other accusations I decided to stop using it.

Now I stick to kucoin, I cant say its the best since every exchange has their own flows but so far I didnt encounter any problem.

If you have doubts in a particular exchange then have your own research to avoid yourself getting into trouble.

in terms of transaction fees in exchange HitBTC has a huge cost when withdrawal and the volume of coins there a lot is not real. I ever is been trading there for a long time and now I don't use that exchange again. of course Kucoin it is a good exchange in the market and I'm happy to trade there. in my opinion Kucoin is indeed better than HitBTC at this time.

I love shrimpy posts, they are always in detail and gives so much information regarding... well basically whatever they are writing about at that moment but their exchange information are always superb. I personally like kucoin more because I have talked with the team there and checked out their security before and they are amazing however I can't deny that hitbtc is also a great place.

I think "both" is a good answer because it depends on what you are looking for from a website but I also think that a proper trader that is interested with many coins and many possibilities of trading should be going one way (I guess you figured out what which one I would pick). However, if you are newbie then hitbtc is simpler and easier and you could have your first start there.

I'm excited to hear you like the posts! Since it takes a lot of time to put these articles together, it's always reassuring to know that people appreciate it. Don't hesitate to let me know if there is a specific topic you would like to see covered in the future! Thanks for the feedback on these exchanges, these are great points.

Different opinions will be there about the exchange. I've used both the exchanges, and hasn't experienced any bad moment. Both are exchanges where we can trade on more and more altcoins that were got through bounties. I started using this exchanges for the same, and with Hitbtc mobile application it is quite easy to access while KuCoin provides with fees free transaction and different other tactics to keep up the users.

Kucoin is the best Exchange that I know, Because one of the top list exchange site the I using in comes on trading and very affordable to use it and we consider our coins we have on that exchange are safe always. But In come for HitBTC Im just always heard about hise exchange site that have some problem in comes we using for trading was and withdrawal was to slow but they will improve it soon so we must wait maybe they become one of the trusted exchange and be in top.

I have been away from trading HitBTC since the beginning of 2018. There most volumes are fake and you will have a lot of difficulties selling your altcoin. Also, the support service of HitBTC is very slow, they handle my sticker about 10 days and it makes me very uncomfortable. Kucoin is one of the leading exchanges in this market and so you should not compare Kucoin with HitBTC.

Coinfirm published a report earlier this year suggesting HitBTC is insolvent. This makes sense considering all the reports of selective KYC requirements after customers request withdrawals.

I would steer clear of HitBTC. All sorts of red flags there. Kucoin on the other hand is solid, no complaints so far.

Agree with you on information of HitBTC. Even the volumes on this exchange are not really real, a large portion of them are virtual, so it causes a price difference easily. Kucoin is not entirely good, but it is enough to choose if compared to HitBTC. Compared to the ability to make transactions with altcoins, Kucoin is one of the leading exchanges

I use both, and so far I don't have any serious problems with the two exchangers. however, I feel that the hitbtc fee is quite large, and besides that I find a lot of negative comments about hitbtc. but, as far as I can see, there are no negative comments about kucoin, even people always pay attention to the IEO that is there.

I have left Hitbtc for a long time because of low response and I also do not actively use Kucoin, but I have 2 accounts on the exchange, if from the service I think Kucoin has a fast and good response from Hitbtc, some that are less than Hitbtc maybe they are exchanges that are strange sometimes it can only sell and buy in fractions of 10 or 100 can not sell unit fractions, besides that they are not like binance.com where all the unit fractions can be converted to BNB, my account is full of piles of fractions there, if possible can be converted bs around $ 25 and that's enough for me to buy a glass of coffee

I have accounts with both exchanges but I only trade on HitBTC when it's the only exchange listing a particular coin I want to trade. The transaction charge on it is way too outrageous and seems manipulated. As for Kucoin, it's a more decent exchange. The ease of navigation on it makes it a darling of many. It's user friendly. Again, it's a copy of Binance exchange in outlook
Me too, I trade on HitBTC when there is a coin available on them where I need to or want to trade but I'm not using at as my primary platform to trade. Reading some comments on HitBTC makes me feel bad for them, they let a silly stuffs to get into them, no doubt they are benefiting from it earning negative trust from people. For me Binance is the best place to trade follow by KuCoin and BitMex.

I have tried trading with Kucoin and Hitbtc and both worked well for me. These two has built a good foundation and has already gained the trust of most users. These days, Hitbtc has been experiencing lapses and lots of traders are complaining about it when it comes to withdrawal. I hope that they would fix it soon. If I were to choose, I will choose to trade with Kucoin for now.

In case it is mandatory to choose I will choose Kucoin to trade altcoin. Kucoin and HitBTC are both very good deals and reputations, but recently HitBTC is facing problems with payment.
Besides trading on Kucoin seems easier, the support system of Kucoin is also very good and friendly.

It doesn't need to be talked about.
HitBtc is the worst of all kinds of exchange.
I am not even logging in their website and yet there is always an e-mail to me telling me I have logged in this place at that time.  Grin
You are not secured there. Be really careful what you are getting unto.
This is a safehaven for scammers only and those cheap ICO who want to get listed with a cheaper price. Get away from it.

HitBTC is the 2nd exchanger I'd use after Etherdelta. I have no problem that before and the volume is still good but it has a big difference by now, a lot of complaints arise. But KuCoin did great and so people would never give their best shot to HitBTC if they know its performance.
If we are looking for an exchanger to used, it is important to review their feedbacks for it will show how they care about their clients/traders.

Okay, so why did OP compare KuCoin to HitBtc when he can compare it to Binance or other exchange sites like obviously, hitbtc has a lot of given issues. Hence, they're not even.

Haven't trade on KuCoin and a trader on Hitbtc before but luckily I didn't encountered any issues despite of the allegations. In fact, I'm hesitant to use it but one of my token was only listed there so I have no choice, but yeah everything went smoothly.

Obviously, based on the experienced of users here, Kucoin is much better. Used both of them in the past, 2017 to early 2018 for HitBTC and early 2018 onwards for Kucoin. I quit HitBTC before I myself would have a headache dealing with them so it's a good move.

So I would say that I have a better experience using Kucoin, although I seldom trade, I still login to my account just to keep it active. HitBTC? I totally forget about them.

I believe Kucoin is better than Hitbtc, besides that Hitbtc already has many problems like delay transaction and hacking. Kucoin more active to release event/ program to get new member and give them reward for simple task. Hitbtc already up grade their system but not helping, negative respond will Hitbtc get for this one. I decide to leave Hitbtc because tired with the same problem different solution but no result.

If you have only these two options then I would definitely go with Kucoin because the reputation of Hitbtc is not that good and volume is also less compared to Kucoin. Its better to take out all your coins from HitBtc because they cant be stable.

Go for Kucoin and i can attest that i do have far more better experience with Kucoin than with Hitbtc. If we do try to elaborate out on their current and pending
issues among the two then theres no question that Hitbtc does involved on multiple issues plus they do have that ridiculous fees.So i would say that it would
be much more worth to use up Kucoin but well its your choice though yet im saying my own experiences among the two.

Obviously yes, apart from the outrageous charges on HitBTC, it's very obvious most active traders on the exchange are bots most especially as the orders (buy or sell) are mainly in small fractions just to manipulate the price of the tokens (coins) been traded. From my experience kucoin is next to Binance in the exchange ranking when it comes to trading altcoins. Both exchange are somehow similar and if you're not told you won't realize you're using two different Exchanges.

Next to their outrageous fees is their scamming operations which has resulted to many previous customers including myself to dislike the exchange and some have aired their views on the forum. Do some research and you'll find them but to give a direct answer I would advice you abstain from patronizing HitBTC. In some instances I prefer kucoin to Binance due to the problem I encounter when trading with Binance mobile.

I would steer clear of HitBTC. All sorts of red flags there. Kucoin on the other hand is solid, no complaints so far.
I'd seen this thread yesterday but was reluctant to be the first one to post in it, since I haven't used HitBTC and thus couldn't compare the two.  Interesting to hear that they're insolvent--don't know if that's true or not, but if it is then it's a pretty clear choice.

I do use Kucoin occasionally, and they're a pretty decent exchange.  They're almost as good as Binance, which I'd also recommend to anyone who wants to trade altcoins.  Kucoin has a lot of coins listed, and their fees are more than reasonable.  I've never had an issue with them that required me contacting their customer service department, and that's a rarity in the world of exchanges.

Hopefully Kucoin remains solvent and intact.  You never know if that's going to be true of any exchange, given the history of a lot of them.

HitBTC is old exchanges which is really good in the past years, but lately it has many problems i'm sure it's because the owners are frustrated with so many good exchanges rivals are born, since binance born followed by many other exchanges, good old exchanges becomes "bad guy" like yobit and poloniex. I'm sure there will be exchanges in the future.

Although the coins traded are not as much hitbtc, they are more accurate with potential coins and good trading volume. The last time I made a withdrawal on hitbtc, they required kyc, I was not comfortable with it, the hitbtc transaction fee was also higher than the others. For orders that appear to be full of trading bots still relative to both, hitbtc is only an exchange that looks outdated compared to its competitors.

HitBTC randomly imposes restrictions, as they allow users to deposit, trade, but you will face many difficulties when deciding to withdraw.
Consequently, volumes on this platform are not real, which means that buying and selling opportunities may not be perfect as they appear on the platform "faking volumes."
So I think KuCoin* will win, but is he the best platform for you? I think you will need more research.

* There are a lot of accusations that there are a lot of bots on that platform, so you should be careful.
