If they do decide to implement Litecoin in their exchange and their site can handle the load from both crypto currencies it will definitely be a great thing for Litecoin but until an eta is set you will just have to wait and hope that it's coming soon.

For fucks sake, this thread again? It's been 'any day now' for a month. Can we please just give up with this BS! Either it will or not, there is no reason for one of these pointless trollbox threads every damn day..

Based on the following:
Quote
Mt. Gox has been working overtime since February to build a new trading engine which
will be implemented by the end of June. Additionally, since early March we have been
building a new IT infrastructure which will be completed by the end of May. We will make
further announcements for such changes once they are implemented.
I'd say that it will come in June/July.

ETA for LTC on GOX is something like ETA for BFL on shipping ASICs Smiley somewhere in the end of next year Tongue

I think it's a question of When rather than If.

what do you guys think ETA is? obv a guess. a month? 2?
will they have to go offline to update the system, giving everyone a heads up abt implementation? or will it just magically appear a la BTC-E?

I was a strong LTC supporter but with the way things r going i think im selling off for BTC. its dying on btc-e right now and all the start up money, news coverage, support is BTC only ATM. If gox doesnt implement before the BTC ecosystem grows, it will be very hard to go back and reimplement LTC. Im refering to the infastructure of start ups and such

the crypto community really needs a scrypt coin and all the scam coins on Btc-e are killing our chances, mining has become such a slimmy bussiness that I am going to revert my scrypt mining hardware to BTC just out of principal I dont even care about profits. the community needs to be reassured that LTC will be adopted and scam coins will not so that they can die like they deserve to, and the greedy can go back to securing the LTC blockchain before the BTC miners decide to kill it.
