Is mining Ethereum profitable this days, how we can start mining it?
we know how to mining it , and if you do a little bit of research you going to find out within a few hours. its not that complicated
Here is a very basic help for you, Just click HERE

Is mining Ethereum profitable this days, how we can start mining it?

I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY NEWBIES KEEP ASKING THE SAME QUESTION " ITS TO LATE TO START MINING , IT IS STILL PROFITABLE ? WHY MY EARNING IS LESS THAN ALL THOSE ONLINE CALCULATORS TELLING ME? WHAT IS THE BEST COIN TO MINE ? WHAT IS THE MOST PROFITABLE COIN TO MINE"

No one can tell you !
Always going to be a 2 group of ppl who telling you it's ok go for it , or dont bc you just wasting ur money and time !
You have to make a decision for yourself !
Do your own research !
No one can tell you for sure what's going to happen with cryptocurrency !
No one can tell you it's going to be profitable for you or not !
No one can tell you how much profit you going to be able to make ! ( if you can make any at all )
No one can tell you the ROI ( return of investment) time !
No one can tell you what is the best coin to mine !
No one can tell you what is the most profitable coin to mine! Coins profitability always changing, what is best to mine today, maybe going to be the worst to mine tomorrow !
None of those calculators you are seeing on the web can tell you what's coming tomorrow , months later or 6 months later !
Those calculators telling you about today , at that moment when you typing in your information !
None of those online calculators calculating pool luck !
None of those online calculators calculating your stale/rejected or invalid shares !
None of those online calculators able to predict difficulty growth !
None of those online calculators can predict what would be the coin/$ exchanges rates a minutes later, a hour later,  tomorrow, next week,  months later, 6 months later or a year later !
It's little bit of gambling , you must to decide you want to play on the lottery or not  Grin
YES some of us got lucky , made some money with mining
YES some of us got unlucky , lost some money , bc when price started to fall , sold they coins , miners...

! INVEST ONLY WHAT YOU'RE WILLING AND ABLE TO LOSE !
! INVEST WITH THE UNDERSTANDING , THAT YOU COULD LOSE EVERYTHING !

Mining ethereum still profitable, but only if you have a low cost of electricity fee and a big power to mining.
If you don't have both, then I think it's difficult to get a profit from mining.
You need to calculate how much the fee you might spend in a month, and you need to compare the estimation of the price, so you need to know your chance to make a profit or not.
In some country which has a low cost of electricity, you can mining ethereum and earn a nice profit.
well, basically if you want profits on big coins like eth, you need to have an ASIC, or a large GPU. I personally might prefer other altcoins, maybe like the veils that I currently pay attention to make a pretty good profit.
But i read ETH going to change into POS, if i plan to mining ETH buying ASIC will not be profit, is that true?

ETH was suppose to switch to POS back in Summer of 2016 and it still hasn't happened yet. The dev team is very slow in updates and usually misses dead lines.

Right now the issue with the ETH ASICs is that the algo might switch to ProgPOW, rendering the ASIC useless, hence why its better to just invest in some GPUs, especially Nvidia's which generally hold their value very well over the long term.

When it finally goes POS, just sell the GPUs to gamers.
All coins now is ASIC resistant, that is way buy ASIC is not good idea, but i agree with you about GPUs.

If you are a novice suggestion from the simple start, the current ETH calculation is very high. It's hard to dig. Later the ETH algorithm is estimated to become a POS. Just dig can't fall, so you can get started with some simple ones. For example VEIL.

when you do mining ethereum it depends on where you do mining, if your place still has cold conditions and the electricity costs are not too high then it can still give you an advantage.

Firstly, mining in itself is supposed to be a profitable activity since it comes along with rewards. However, as sweet as it sounds, it also comes along with "buts" and that is where issues arising include- type of mining machine/software, climate you find yourself in, country you're from (electricity costs and jurisdiction), etc.

for ethereum it seems less favorable in my opinion because from what I observe many miners (some friends and people who are known) mine ethereum at the time before bullish many sell their rigs, and some survive but they mine other alt, maybe they stop is because dif which increased due to the 2017 bullish and at the moment bearish ethereum has decreased significantly and there they have stopped

Cheesy  It is difficult to call something profit. Well potontsial for growth there. Like the market now goes to the top. So the prices for ETH rise do not think that $ 1000. But you can continue to mine.

If I am not wrong then I think you are new to the mining! Then I would suggest you do not come to the mining at this point. Because even the mining experts are suffering to earn a profit through the Ethereum mining! As you are new then you have to face a lot of obstacles like you have to buy mining rig, perfect GPU for the eth, and all of those costs are very high! And, if your country asks a high bill for the electricity then what can I say except NO?

After a long time, ETH price seems increasing well and the crypto market trend is also good then why not you buy some ETH and start the trade or hodl? I think that will be more profitable for you. Good Luck.

undermining is no longer profitable in general, only if you have low-cost energy or solar panels, and then you must also see the calculation of power/speed on https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/eth
It seems to me that now you can mine some other coins. To mine Ethereum alone is not profitable. I think that only large farms can mine Ethereum and Bitcoin.

Is mining Ethereum profitable this days, how we can start mining it?

I believe mining is profitable based on the country you reside in, I am saying this due to the cost of electricity varies by countries, the amount I would pay for electricity in my country would be totally different from the amount you are going to pay, if the electricity in your country is cheap, then you are going to make a lot of money from mining crypto but if the the cost of electricity is expensive, then you might not really make profit from mining.

Yes if you want to mine with graphic card i would probably suggest you to mine Ethereum. For me Ethereum is the best coin to mine because of the coin itself, the diff, and the capital.

At this price, i am agree mining ethereum should be profitable. But we should calculating on electricity cost because different country have different tariff. As far i know, in near future ethereum will convert to POS system

Altcoins like ethereum are only profitable when bullruns are raging like now and it will favour those who can hold for long term but to mine ETH now you will be higher end GPUs and they are pretty costly

Yes it's true, but you should buy ethereum for today, because the eth price goes up and down and day by day grows, if you use higher funds, you will get many benefits if you use this style.

I think you can get a profit but you I can't say that is profitable. Because even the operatibg expenses using electricity and internet is high cost and you will only mined small amount of coin then you will sell in a small exchanges so at the end have a very low salarybor worst you will be loss. To have a good mining site just search it to this forum.

If you are running a mining farm, maybe it could be profitable since you will be handling a lots of computers, but if you are running a single computer, i think its not, you will be paying for an electric bill, and a lots of maintenance, so i think, a single computer could not be profitable.

I never tried mining but based on what ive heard, they dont recommend having a single computer

Logically yes, I'm not a miner but think of it.
If mining ethereum is no longer profitable, it is impossible our transactions to get confirmed.

how we can start mining it?
Get some idea first and calculate on https://whattomine.com/ how profitable it is with a certain GPU that you prefer.

if ethereum's price is still like now, I think it's not profitable. maintenance and electricity costs are higher than mining revenues. moreover the current reward/block has been reduced. so this is also one of the considerations for those who want to mine ethereum.
This means that miners may leave mining, is that may cause die of the ETH?

There'll always be people with a low electricity-rate who can profitably keep up mining.
And for ETH this won't matter anyways after shifting to PoS in future.

Will be depends from your location as the electrical consumptions is always the big factors if you leave where the price of your electricity is cheaper then mining will bring some profits to you, need to read more about this venue of business before taking your step inside, invest with your knowledge.

You will have to move this thread to the mining section but if you ask me if mining ethereuem is still profitable then I will say yes because the market is so friendly and the transactions fee are a little bit on the high side with ethereuem gas fee seating at above 1.78$ per transactions. If you have a good working equipment and software then you make a great gain in your mining work.

The topic will likely be moved to mining, you should check the thread just like the first commentator said. Nonetheless, mining ethereum might have no future because it is going to transition to PoS. Even on the PoS somebody speculated that it may not be profitable

For me no because to get a profit on a month i think Ethereum need to be over 300$ at least every month because on my country electricity is expensive, but on other countries may be profitable and should buy mining equipment and see how long will take to make ROI.

Profitability is dependent on the resources you have, if you have a low cost electricity in your country then the answer would be yes.  If  you plan to hodl the Ethereum that you had mined until it multiplies in price then again the answer would be yes. But if you are just starting out, meaning you are to buy your mining set, then I would suggest that just buy ETH on the exchange and hodl it.  It will at least save you from the hassle of setting up and maintenance and the risk of your mining rig being busted before you got your ROI.

It depends on your miner, what miner you have or atleast provide the hashrate to get what you are capable of mining.

Looks like you are new to mining so it might be a less powered miner so based on that you have to mine other altcoins with low difficulty compared to ethereum for more profits.

It depends on different factors and most primarily by the electricity cost at your place.
GPUs are energy hungry machines, not only they require a lot of electricity but also a regular and constant voltage would be beneficial for its life.
Other things that affect are prices of GPU and other hardware, crypto market and price of Ethereum, it's difficulty, the size of the farm and a cooler climate would be a bonus.
