Coinhive only shares small % of the mining reward with you so you will only loss if you are using them to mine with your CPU but if you want to include their mining script in your site to mine from your users than you will only get negative feedback from your users and it is not good for your site's reputation.

CPU can also burst if you keep mining with maximum node for long period. CPU mining is no more profitable in short....

No it's not worth it, it's a waste of time i think spend your time to find good ico or do trading so while you study that you gain knowledge about anything in crypto and you can use it if you already join in some campaigns.Trading and Campaigns here are sure profit even someone tell that trading is risky for me you need only to wait for profit. Moreover try also some faucets for more good and more profit.

thank for the warning, may I should remove coinhive on my website http://buxlister.com as its only give negative feedback
can someone confirm it's already remove and not showing everywhere?

thanks in advance

Browser mining is now no more profitable, it shows that javascript monero mining for making money. These kind of the contract are not the best option to make money in the mining platform. You please be careful in next investment options like don't go towards the cloud mining or browser mining. Best mining platform is GPU or antminer series ASIC mining you will get the highest profit since it produces the more hash power than anyone.

How is it a good idea? I would assume that Coin Hive users set it up on their site, or illegally on some websites, to use other people's CPU cycles to mine for their own gain?

Maybe if its an opt in, yes. But antivirus software have already flagged them as malware. You can lose visitors on your site.

Personally, I think it's not good idea. If you have website and your users are staying on website for at least few minutes, it can bring some income, additional to profit from advertisements. But you have to set not too high CPU usage to not harm users devices and also, give warning about running miner script. Some antivirus blocking coinhive script and many users may close website immediately after seeing warning. Also, various ad blocking addons blocking coinhive, so, if user using it, you can't benefit from him.
And as user above said, using coinhive to mine Nonero with your PC is big waste of time and electricity.

I assume that you're talking about adding coinhive to your site right? Because if you're talking about doing the javascript mining by yourself, the answer is obviously NO as it's just a waste of time and energy. If you want you can try it for a day or so using freebitcoin??? if my memory serves me right.

Now, Regarding integrating coinhive into your website, It depends on how much traffic you are getting but some articles shows that it's more profitable if we actually use javascript mining rather than ads although this might lead to a backlash from your viewers if you keep it a secret just like what hapened in piratebays.

Are you using your CPU to mine? there are other software/CPU miners(optimized) you know. though it's not worth it to mine using CPU(in my opinion).
