To some extent I agree, but by the same token, I think it's possible to appraise domains even if it means a big price range.
As far as your second point goes, it's just the domain name itself; when a website is up there and someone does a little SEO, it shouldn't be much trouble to get it listed.
You might get a few thousand, you might get nothing. That's how these things go.
Domain squatting companies typically overcharge to make up for the many domains
that never sell. You can do that too, but if you only have a few domains you might
wind up with nothing.
