Thank you very much for your help, I am scanning my system now (quick scan didn't come up with anything bad) but who knows.

Now the good news: apparently, my browser was the problem. Using another browser logged me right in (and all coins are there luckily).
I had tried to open a new window in the first browser but that didn't solve the issue, another browser did.

Thanks again for your suggestions!

What Operating System are you using?  In other words if you are using windows let tux know your account may have been compromised so he can lock it.  Go into security lock down mode.  Transfer all your funds to a new secure wallet on a clean computer system.  Run Microsoft Safety Scanner (google it or search for it on the MS web cite).  Maybe run the most recent Microsoft Malicious software removal tool.    This should only take an hour or two but if you think you might have been compromised it is worth the time if you have a significant amount of bitcoins.

I cannot even login.

When I enter my username and password and click Login I get directed to the main page and am not logged in.
I have tried a wrong password and it gives me the wrong password message, so when I'm using the correct password it just doesn't log me in.

I've also changed my password now successfully, and still cannot login.
