Will it meet the power requirements

200 TPD for 6950
500 TPD for 7970
95 for CPU
and 50 for others

i know both my GPU's will be operating at max load so i was worried if 750 would suffice??

Thanks
Pradeep

A 7970 does not use 500W. It is only rated for 300W at absolute maximum, and mine uses ~260, which is quite a lot from what I can tell.

Well its a Single Rail, so that's good. You should be able to run 2 cards on there with no issues.

Hi all,

I am using a corsair 750W TX bronze 80+ PSU

http://www.corsair.com/en/power-supply-units/tx-series-power-supply-units/enthusiast-series-tx750-v2-80-plus-bronze-certified-750-watt-high-performance-power-supply.html

System configuration
intel Motherboard with one PCIe x16 slot and 3 PCIe x1 slots
4GB DDR2(2x2)
SSD 160GB HDD
SATA 320GB HDD
Intel-Core2-Quad-Processor-Q8300-(4M-Cache-2_50-GHz-1333-MHz-FSB) 95W TDP
One 6950 with locked Bios OC version (830MHz Core and 650MHz MEM) --Hashing around 350MH/s

To the above system i want to add a 7970 Gigabyte Mobo

I want to make sure my PSU can withstand this.

Can you please suggest if i can go ahead and make the purchase. I dont want to change rest of the system. Also i want to know how much a power does a 7970 draws from the mains

so in case if i cannot support 6950 and 7970 i can swap 6950 with a 7970.
Also i am planning to use 1x-16x extender to support the second GFX card on my Mobo

thanks
pradeep
