if you mine x11 you can four 280x with that psu
Very true it also depends what algo you are mining, any scrypt will be hardware intensive.

to be safe always use a surge protector with mining

Very true. Just about anything even an old tv, use a surge suppressor.

Here's mine to protect my investment. Not all products have arrived yet. But my surge suppressor had. Scroll through the thread.

Is the 750W Seasonic X-750 enough for 2 x sapphire r9 280x dual?

I'm looking at over clocking my cpu soon as well

It really depends which algo you are using it to mine, if you are mining scrypt-n with overclocking then x750 is enough but it would not last long (almost 100% usage). If you are mining x11 then it would be really good cause the usage is only like 50%.

yes, that was what i was thinking. But I was hoping some forum members may have 2 x 280x and my psu mining coins

I know that at idle "entire system", with one of my 280x killawatt read@ 100 watts. @mining alt. coins it jumped to 390- 400watts my killawatt said.

I am just chipping in my experience with one 280x and a killawatt.

ok, that doesnt sound good. anyone else?
