Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
What about the Mycelium update version 1.14 for iPhone users released on April 10, 2020, below:

I think the developer still supports Mycelium for iOS / iPhone users.
I checked their github page, the last commit was 3 months ago and that's a good news, at least from being inactive for too long, they decided to update that ios version.

Mycelium is still being developed and not abandoned.
On android, there are quite a few reliable mobile wallets. And mycelium is one of them.

There are definitely mobile wallets around with more functionality, but mycelium is perfectly fine.

google play reviews seemed to support this

Google play reviews are mostly useless. As already said, there was a new release on Android a couple of days ago. Only the iOS/iPhone version is no longer supported.
If you want to get better overview of the situation you better check their GitHub ( https://github.com/mycelium-com/wallet-android ) or their home page ( https://wallet.mycelium.com/index.html )

I read on the forums that mycelium wallet was no longer supported by the developers, google play reviews seemed to support this. Is this correct, can anyone give me a definitive answer?
Maybe you misread it, mycelium is still running its android version, last commit was 9 days ago, though they stop developing its IOS version.
