This is an old issue with Coinbase look at this Reddit below

According to other users, the issue might be your bank, depositing to your Coinbase account is blocked by the bank. That is why they do recommend you to contact the bank first and report the issue and ask if it's allowed to deposit and buy Crypto.

Or if you need some clarification about your issue directly contact Coinbase support.

I have a coinbase account verified years ago.  I also linked a bank account to it years ago and verified with the two small deposits.

When I try to make an ACH deposit from it on coinbase or coinbase pro, it requires me to add a payment method.  Why does it ask me for that if my checking account is already linked and added a long time ago?  I see it in my payment method tab on coinbase and banking linked accounts on coinbase pro.

Now when I try to add another bank account, I try manually and put in name, routing number and account number.  I get message I cannot add the bank account.  I heard lot of people have the same issue.

Can anyone here confirm... you have to use Plaid in order to verify a bank account on coinbase?  Who here has been able to verify their bank account on coinbase within the last few months manually?

Has anyone here have a bank account linked and verified to their coinbase account... but when they try to deposit ACH from it... their linked bank account does not show up and requires you to add another payment method?  If so, how did you fix this issue?

With gemini, they required plaid.  But if you do a wire transfer, they didn't require it so I did wire and that allowed me to use it.
