Credit cards can be charged back like paypal.
That's why companies are reluctant to accept them as a deposit payment.

And yes, if they accept it, they should have huge fees to processed.

btcquick.com seems legit
there is no way to escrow because cc user can call company to chargeback anytime

I think btcquick.com does something rather interesting.  They use Google Checkout(Wallet) and to satisfy the Google policy for proof of delivery for digital goods, btcquick sells(transmits) to the customer the private key to the associated public key with X number of ordered BTC on it.  I read this on their site somewhere before but it may be behind login now.  I have no idea how they securely transmit the private key.  It's quite an interesting idea to resolve chargeback situations, no real difference to sending a software license.  The credit card order fee is rather steep though at 7%.  If you are in a hurry this may be a good suggestion.

How about balance transfer to a bank account?  It's not instant but a couple of days you'll have money in the bank, typically less 3%.  If you have good credit you can get a cc these days pretty easily that has anywhere from 6 months to 21 months+ interest free for purchases and balance transfers.

bank transfers are a lot easier. many people on localbitcoins sell btc for bank wire.

Aren't there any escrow-like services which will protect both buyer and seller in these things?
Thanks!

Have to buy Second Life Linden dollars, then convert to BTC.  Probably costs about 5-10% more because of conversion costs.

AFAIK that isn't possible now.  Not only are credit card companies wary of bitcoins, the chargebacks make it unlikely that anyone will be willing to sell bitcoins to you if you are paying with a CC.
