I do believe that ranking cryptocurrencies are more important to guide investors of which to invest and not just throwing money with useless coins in the market.
For me, www.coinmarketcap.com is more reliable as it is better crypto market representation than just relying on crypto exchanges trading volume.
a centralized ranking for crypto that is being served by coinmarketcap.com is one of the most useful reference for crypto enthusiasts, investors and holders.

rather than accepting ranks there is no option who hold btc for long time
why is ranking of Cryptocurrencies still acceptable? i mean this cements a status quo with cryptocurrencies at the top that are there just because they came early, but the bitcoiners created butcoin into an established encvironment so why cant others do that as well and get attention for this?
