"most of the justices are conservative" is debatable at best. Some of the judges you might call conservative have a more centrist voting record. An additional appointment by Trump however could make a more clear majority. Any way you slice it, the goal is to prevent Trump from having influence and achieving his policy goals "by any means necessary". The Democrat platform has been running on "orange man bad" as its only policy position since 2016.
I doubt the "centrists," who are right of center, are going to go along with pretending Ginsburg is alive. However, I'm sure that if Ginsburg ends up on life support, they will roll her in to hear cases on the gurney with a full medical staff. Cheesy

She doesn't need to participate to keep the position filled, technically she could be in an induced coma on full life support and that would serve the purpose of preventing the position from being filled by Trump. You never know, the other justices might be afraid of getting Scalia'd.

If the Supreme Court had a majority of liberals, I may give this theory some credence. However, most of the justices are conservative and a good portion of them are not expected to waiver from their conservative stances on any decisions. I doubt that they would go along with any attempts to hide Ginsburg's death.

"they want more people who will vote the way we want them to"

She's been dead for at least 20 years by the looks of her. Shouldn't she be on the show The Walking Dead as a Walker?

Ruth Bader Ginsburg had very serious health issues related to cancer, at age 86, then all of a sudden none of that is discussed and she is just chugging along as normal supposedly. Some people have a lot invested in making sure Trump does not have a chance to pick another supreme court justice, which would potentially change the balance of the supreme court's leaning.

It has been suggested that she may be already dead, and the goal is to hide her death until within a year of the next president being sworn in so they can then object to Trump appointing another justice, as it is standing policy within a short time frame of the president's potential exit. I can't say I know better than anyone else what is going on, but this whole situation is certainly suspicious. What do you think?
