Religion may be not important to an individual (for me, for example), but one can`t but admit its influence on human culture and society all over the world.
It gives people purpose, something to rely on, something to believe in - it is called 'Opium for the peoople' for a reason, after all.

For me, my faith towards God is more important than the rituals being observed by any religion. 
Religion is not important to me. As long as I don't hurt anyone or step someone's else place, I think we're good.

As a deist, I do not believe religions are important. But I respect everybody's thoughts, I do not care what they believe or do not believe. For me the important thing is being a good person.

It's not so important for me to go to church, what matters to me is doing good things for other people in your own little ways. Loving other people is also loving the Creator, whoever He is. Going to church is non-sense if your attitude is trash.

Personally, I believe strongly that religion is very important. I even consider that life without religion is meaningless. But the truth is I prefer not to say this to others most of the time. Because I believe that one can truly appreciate religion only when they come to this realization themselves. Religion in its pure state only produces better people. There are many lessons in the world today that have been neglected. And this is so because the neglect of religion has become trendy. First of all, each and everyone has their view about religion . For sure , someone who does not have belief in religious stuffs would definitely tell you into your face and tell you "HELL NO" cos does his or her belief. Someone who is also a religious person will say "HELL YES" . It depends on the person's belief before you get an answer . However to me, am a religious person so i will say yes its very important since i know my creator...Sorry to say if the moderator of this thread is not religious.
