Maybe I have had a bad luck, but out of 12 sapphire rx 470 nitros I have bought 4 already broken, didn't even last a year, although the RMA process went smoothly so at least there's that.

I usually under volt them. So they will last longer.

Thank you a lot for answers.

I also can buy same card with 4GB for only $20 cheaper. Therefore, 8GB version is better option I think.

Also, I'm a little scared if GPU will be good, when ETherum will go PoS.

First time I want buy 1080Ti GTX cards for $1000, but I can buy only 4. Rx470 I can buy 12pieces for same price and have better ROI.

The card is good, you should be able to get around 28 Mhash per second if you mod the BIOS and overclock/undervolt a bit.

I do think the price is high to expect to ROI with it anytime soon, but then again $300 is pretty much the going rate right now. Just keep in mind that most GPUs are selling for 150% their MSRP right now so any hardware ROI is goign to take a long time. If you can hold out another month or two this situation may change as mining profits are starting to come down off their recent highs and hardware prices (might) start to come down.

Sounds a bit pricey, you could opt for the 4Gb version, won't make much difference (Even for future usage) and will achieve ROI faster than the 8Gb one.

$300 for that card seems very pricey. I'd say $100 less and you can probably make a decent ROI. The main thing you want to do is pick a coin that isn't crowded or the difficulty may not allow you to accumulate a good amount of coins.

Here is a good topic showing cards and information to get you started.

That card will see around 24 - 25 mhs they are good cards but I think the price seems a little high there may be better deals out there.
